Hi Lads, just getting the chance now to write to you guys. I can't apologise enough for letting the organisers and fellow team mates down. We were on route when we got a call about a sick child. We had even planned to stay over in Mount Wolesley and make another weekend of it. Sorry for the late reply on the thread as my wife answered for me while I was driving. The little fella is fine, nothing too serious.

I understand that there was a lot of guys hoping to play this weekend and to them I also apologise.

Could really be onto something here lads. Set out some rules for qualifying for the team and it would be another enjoyable aspect of the society outings. Well done today

It would make people try every time aswell instead of minding their handicaps
    *ahem*

If there's 8 outings, maybe 6 best cards out of the 8 outings. Allows for people who cant make every single outing, thru holidays or work or whatever :)

Only getting the chance to get on here now lads a big congratulations to the boards society well played lads the matches all went fairly close too so it worked quite well except for the unfortunate pat who had to play on his own against our anchor ( dreamteam pairing) group :D Took the shine off a great day for the 3 of us there was no pleasure in winning but at the same time i would have never lived it down if we lost so we could not show mercy!

Superb team performance today! My troops did not let me down. The only match we lost it was 2 against 1!

Thanks to technodub for his efforts and if you don't make their team next year, we will accommodate you!!

    CHAMPIONS!

Keano Dont worry about me making the team next year pal just hope you dont get drawn against me :D

Thats exactly how we do it lads i think the best 6 scores out of 8 or so qualifies so it adds extra incentive to 1. Play well 2. Turn up as much as possible!

Once again i congratulate the boards society on their victory from all @ the reps society ( half of them wouldnt know how to use a computer!) Looking forward to next year already. Another thing i think we should organise it as an overnight stay if at all possible so we could have a few fizzy drinks and a bit of socialising :D Possibly even 2 days golf first day fourball 2nd day singles??
