Ah lads, you're are scaring me :(

We're doing everything the way we used to, only its in a garage and theres two of us.

People coming to get their car serviced in a garage behind someones house will kinda guess its not 100% 'legit'

No but the Coroner will should anything occur. :)

We're merely giving you a heads up.

Anywho, it's a 100% legit around here or nothing, so for you're own safety, I'd advice piping up on the new venture until it is infact 100%

    Thanks.

Been there, done that. Just save yourself the hassle and go 100% legit. That way you and your buddys arse is covered :)

I might have worked on many many cars over the years but I have no cert to say I can do it. So I don't offer servicing to the public, just to a very select few friends of mine. I'm sure I could put a few qualified people to shame too

Ah yeah, I know you are only letting me know. And I appreciate it.

But, I really want to do this. Maybe if things go well we can make something permanent out of it :)

Word will get round, any local legit mechanics in the area may get ruffled feathers too ;) Everyone will know it's not 100% legit, not a great position to be in really.

    Sorry.

Let me just say this though.

This is number 1 main reason I got this was for the cars I own. Work on them in a dry place.

My buddy gets cars needing small stuff in nearly everyday of the week. Hes been doing it for a good while now. So now he has somewhere to work and someone to help him.

The local 'jonny be bad's' will be around next looking for protection money. :D

Yes, we understand that. But you'd be surprised what can be seen on the internet, for for your own interest it's better you keep it private.

    Thanks.

(Don't hesistate to keep showing us your cars, just keep prices and profits to yourself;) )

Have a question, would the CV boot from a MK4 facelift Fiesta fit a pre-facelift Fiesta?

How many cars have you sold in last month and total sales prices? I wouldn't worry about having too much vat to pay based on what you've said so far but I woud worry that you're lining up for lots of costs - admin, returns, insurance (it's going to be a must have) etc.

Had a 2007 Range Rover 4.4 V8 with 22 inch wheels in the garage today, ...it had 312,000kms on it!!:eek:

The guy said he bought it new when he retired and does a lot of travelling around Europe in it.

A big change from most of the fur coat and no knickers celtic tiger left over Range Rovers on the road these days with bald tyres and dash's like Christmas trees.

Didn't he say something about wanting to change his username, maybe he just closed it to start with a new name?

He seemed to have about of energy and direction about him. Hope he makes it into a business - in 20 years he'll be Bill Cullen writing not about toffee apples but "****e boxes I started selling, look at me now".
