so my car is getting cleaned and i can relax after whole week of work. tomorrow is a big day!

When you think about it,

They're 5 series money new

It's a 2.7 when it could be a 2.2 (Lower Irish minded tax)

It's four years old and it's got 80k miles on it.

Sitting in my car on St AlPhonsus Road Drumcondra and the DCC clamping van turns up and parks in front of me. Two guys, one dropped off at the top of the street, one driving. They quickly identify 2 cars and pop on the clamps then go back and get stickers then print out parking tickets. I've been sitting here 40 minutes and they haven't been past before. One of the car owners has returned and all that's on the car is the clamp, no sticker, no tiket. They (2 30 year Old women) engage with the clamper who proceeds to punch the details into his machine, print out the ticket and give it to her. All seems a little unnecessary to me. She has headed off to ATM. Thought they had to observe the illegal parkIng and be sure they were there for 20 mins. Both arrived while I've been sitting here.

The other couple have now returned and are explaining that they used the text parking service an called DCC to confirm it. Not completely callous as he told me I shouldn't have bothered paying for parking as I'm in the car.

Pulled onto road earlier from a carpark, got beeped by some teenager, probably cos he thought I'd drift over the line or something, I dunno. Flipped him off and thought nothing more off it. Just as I turn off the end of the road notice the guy reversing up the road after me, proceeds to tail me though town to a road clear enough to over take(about 2.5km), does so and one of the cretins in the back mooned me... And then roars off up the street :rolleyes:

Some scary driving out of a French people carrier driving down the n7 and he is inches from my side as he tailgates an s class he was tailgating me in the middle lane as I slowly overtook an almera as between traffic and rain everything was going slow. He pulled so close to me travelling at 80kmh an hour I couldn't see the badge on the front of his car.
And then he wondered as he nearly took my mirror off as he was in both the overtaking lane and middle lane why I was irate.

well. i gave my car at 11:00 and poor fella finished on my car just now. he only asked for 50eu for full valet. :eek: i gave him 70eu. there were bits of tar all over the car, which he cleaned out too! fair play to young fella.

It was funny I saw you as you drove past the Aldi and turned right at the roundabout up past the Tesco and petrol station. I'm staying out near Castle town I think. I will be around Gorey all week though, I'll pm you if I'm around, I'm gonna new more than custard proof to prove the GTi is infact red! :P
