    Just a quick follow-up question!

Does anyone know if it is possible to switch off the panel lights? I'm talking about the blue light on the left side and the three lights beside it. Can't find a way at all how to do this and damn, is is far too bright when watching a movie!!

If nothing else, then some black tape may be in order!!

Just a quick question guys - with a single cable\terrestrial tuner, am I right in saying that with the tuner below you can watch live and record at the same time (or record 2 channels simultaneously) on the Ultimo? This seems a bit counter-intuitive tbh!!

    Thanks

The channels must be on the same mux.
With saorview you can record Rte 1, or record/watch all the other channels...

There is a setting to dim the lights on the display in vix. It's under setup/system/front panel display.

Anyone got a method for using the audio from one channel while watching another?

Thinking of using it for matches on NC+ while using the audio from 5 live or elsewhere.

Can use the stream to my pc of course but thats not ideal
