Just in case there is any confusion, we will not be re-arranging the stick prizes. I maybe made a mistake by announcing the soul stick for MVC early but I was holding out for another possible sponsor for SFxT that fell through so I had to go with what I could.

Hi all,

I want to give an update to the tournament format for SFxT. This tournament will now be a double elimination tournament. Due to time constraints this will be best of one game until the quarter finals. This was the best we could do with the time available.

I have sent an email to everyone who has registered on the site with all information and details as well.

Seeding are being taken from inferno and DOC for the games not last years event. They are all available in threads but I'll pull them together for the event obviously.

Don't worry Nutrient, I think you'll be seeded for uMVC.

Sorry, only saw this now. The format for the streams is really up to TeAm Doomy but from the events perspective, the streaming station will have selected matches on from Groups and eliminations from all the tournaments. I will push the guys to write out a basic schedule for the day but this is our first run and may need to be flexible.

Point to note, the monitor used for this station is the least laggiest monitor on the market according to the review thread on SRK. http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/sub-1-frame-hdtv-monitor-input-lag-database.145141/ Dell S2330MX - 3.8ms input lag TN Film 23" 1920x1080 so should be hype without excuse

I think I am going to have a wee chat with the various TOs and have them send the best matches forward. Obviously we want to have the best of all tournaments streamed so my target would be top 4 for each.

Other than that, I guess I will start out with MK for an hour or so then move onto SFxT before returning to the top 8s, then marvel, then whatevers left for SF4.
