    monaghan dont look too bad. 5/1 at home is tempting. But then again they are monaghan. some things never change. hmmmm :rolleyes:. must try to pick out a little accumulator later. LOI tends to be less draws i find. Dont have stats to back up my wild claim.

    Had a fiver on Harps today @ 9/2. That's about it.

    Had an accum last night but needed Derry to score a goal and Cork to win. Difficult league to bet on this year I find.

    Have kept bets small so far.

    Will wait to see 1st series of games when teams will be fully settled before i start getting more serious.

    Drogheda the surprise package so far. Look very good.

    Went for Finn Harps -1 @6/4, Drogheda @ 1/1 and Shels @ 6/5 for this weekend. Bookies closed friday so just did it today to save time.

    Forgot about this last week.

    This weekend going for a single of Finn Harps @ 7/2 against Limerick. We're in the best form in the league beating Longford and Waterford away in the league in our last 3 league games.
    Confidence is very high and we've scored the most goals in the league. Limerick haven't been as great as everyone has expected and we gave it to them down there.

    For Friday I'm looking at Bohs, St.Pats & Derry treble.

    Like St Pats and Derry myself, but Mons at 6/1 to beat Bohs is huge imo. After last week Roddy will have gave them serious words and will have them ready for tomorrow.

    Only seen that now, haven't been online in a day. But I tend to stay well away from Rovers to win, always dodgy and always too short priced.

    Harps @ Evens might be value. Athlone missing 3 first choice defenders Ross Kenny, Paul Danaher and Joe Woods along with striker Mark Sherlock. We last won a game in Finn Park during the 1984/85 season.

    Could be good.

    Cork for the win - Turners Cross seems to be a bit of a fortess for them and they're starting to get points and goals on the board while Dundalk can't score for their dinner,
    Twigg anytime - It's Twigg,
    Jason Byrne anytime - He's gotten off to a good start and I can see him bagging a goal against his former club,
    BTTS Bray -v- Bohs - Jason Byrne and McEvoy have been bagging goals the last couple of games and can see both doing so tomorrow

    Value Bets
    Drogheda 7/2 - Good side on great form, look overpriced imo,
    St. Pats 17/10 - Again on decent form and the big advantage is Derry are missing some of their best players (check extratime.ie for players).

    Yeah Harps look decent enough value, 11/10 with ladbrokes. Rumours on Harps forum and Athlone side is that it's up to 5 first team players missing now?

    Harps gonna make 3-4 changes to the team beat 3-0 by Mervue last weekend and deservedly so.

    Derry also missing Greachan, McEleney, Patterson and Morrison are all definately out whilst Macca, Farren and Deery face late fitness tests.

    Derry's home form has been shaky to say the least so i might go for a St.Pats win @ 11/8
