Listening to The XX for the first time. I really don't get the hype around them. Don't do it for me personally.

I appreciate their music but just doesn't do it for me to be honest. Or maybe I'm just broken. :pac:

Does anyone else have one of those washer / dryer combos?

Do you ever find that stuff comes out still wet after a drying cycle? I mean really wet (and really warm).

Almost as if the moisture isn't escaping? I had a look, usually tumble dryers have a water tray you empty but this doesn't seem to have one.

Protip: The washer/drier combos don't have water trays, as they are designed to drain excess drying water out the same waste pipe as is used in a wash cycle.

However, washer/drier combos are typically awful, and don't work well. Space saving yes, but I've heard plenty of complaints over the years about how crappy they are!

(I worked part time selling electrical crud for years, I don't have some weird household appliance fetish! :pac: )

Yep but it's a rented apartment so I can't really change it. Even if I could, don't really have space for seperate washer / dryers. :(

It does suck though, it means the washing takes way longer! Can't wash and dry at the same time.

Maybe speak to the landlord about getting it looked at cause the drier part doesn't seem to work? :) It should be their responsibility to provide working appliances.
