Just looking there, Fortress Loftus not even nearly full, maybe 75%. Newlands has almost exactly the same capacity and I am sure it wouldve been sold out if there was a semi final there.

Big call. Leading by 1 with shot at goal, and goes for touch...

Yes! So happy to see that penalised. I hate how that's been creeping into the game.

Was cynical from the Bulls' physio, or whoever it was. Great call from Joubert.

Was that even a Bulls throw in that they took quick?

Awful captaincy from the Bulls whatever happens

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭LeeroyJones

They'll go and score a try now that I've posted this but turning down the posts three times is ridiculous by the Bulls

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,714 ✭✭✭Jacovs

3 chances at posts, 3 times they go for touch, 3 times they fail.

Morne Steyn is a great goalkicker. It's crazy.

Morne obviously has this thread summarised live in an earpiece

At some stage the Brumbies are going to actually have to run the ball and not just kick it deep to the Bulls or up into the air. I find Jake White a bit anti-rugby with his tactics.

Solid. Nothing flashy, but error-free, decent work-rate. Leinster hearts should be warmed a bit by this display.

Brumbies snatch the win? Replay pending.

Brumbies leading 26-23 with 5 seconds left.

Brilliant stuff from the Brumbies! Jake White has given them a serious edge

Chiefs v Brumbies, so. Chiefs deserve it, have been the best attacking side all season, and their defense today was top class. But Brumbies will be tough enough, although there seemed to be a few holes around the 10 channel.

    HAHAHAHA bulls...

I haven't seen a team do so much to lose in an absolute age.

I think the travelling is going to get to the Brumbies next week.
Not sure who id like to win it.

The trip will not help the Brumbies but they have a good team which will give the Chief's a tough game.

Personally, I will be cheering for the aussies (which I won't advertise too much here!)

Couldn't watch them live, but just saw both in full there. 2 absolutely incredible games. George Smith had an epic match, and Ben Alexander showing his worth.

The Crusaders game was fantastic stuff, but Carter really bottled it at the end of both halves.

The Bulls game was the most absorbing clash I've ever seen. Some fantastic rugby played, scrums and line-outs both very entertaining, the breakdown, especially George Smith's work, was fascinating, even the kicking battles were great. The Loftus crowd really made it though with their reactions to everything, especially when the Bulls were turning down kicks. The silence at the end was incredible. Best club match I've ever seen. Kirchner was very good, and Toomua's work for that last try was outstanding. Brumbies were really good at shutting down the Bulls maul. Typically those 3 times they turned the points down it would be a pushover try, but they got nowhere.

I really hope the Brumbies can win it next week.
