Still makes more sense than a lot of the off season discussion

Pretty much the only reason I decided to support the Bulls is because I like putting on an Afrikaans accent and saying all the names. Plus, the Kaptein song is catchy.

What a ridiculous reason to support a super xv side

Sure why else would I support a super XV side? I've got no affiliation to anything down under, so I pick my teams the same way an Irish person picks a premier league team, based on utter nonsense :pac:. Realistically I couldn't give a toss who wins.

lol @ choosing the transvaal accent. And that song... Btw, the guy who sings that song was in a pretty serious accident after the last Bulls game.
Not a big fan of afrikaans music myself.

ie what's trendy. How many people do you know who support a side other than Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal? At least my last boss was a dyed in the wool Everton fan, through thick & thin.

Wasn't it you supporting the Cheetahs because you liked their jerseys :P

Hoping for a Bulls win too, given that I've seen them far more than the other sides this year.

If the Bulls fans could be gracious in victory then I would love for a SA team to win it.

I'm just grateful the ABs don't wear lilac jerseys.

I love the All-Blacks, I think I possibly was the only person in Sydney going for them in the W.C

Looking forward to Kings-Lions tomorrow. Should be a poor enough game, but lots on the line. It's a shame that while both Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth are worthy of S15 franchises that neither team is good at all. Jantjies is back for the Lions, parachuted straight into the side, back from his Stormers loan.

18 minutes in, 5 penalties kicked already. What a classic. Great little break there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,714 ✭✭✭Jacovs

Anybody who expected a clean no fights game mustve been dreaming.

Well executed try by the Kings a minute ago.

They're just saying on Sky that it's home and away. They are really giving the Kings as much of a leg up as possible!

Bit of a show pony, it would seem. Didn't really cut it at 15s rugby.

Big moment as the Kings hold the Lions out after 2 5 meter scrum penalties. Now they have a kickable penalty of their own.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Yikes a comedy of errors from both the kings and the officials lead to a Lions try under the sticks

And bringing back fond memories for Leinster fans, Steven Sykes scores for the Kings.
