I heard a Rocky the other day.

Dad would have rather got a puppy by the sounds of it.

    Life ain't always empty.

Is that meant to be Kieran with a trendy, modern spelling (ironic, when you consider it's already an anglicised version of Ciaran) or is it supposed to sound like a sci-fi villi an?

It sounds like "My parents are morons"

Maybe the child is as ugly as the Ssang Yong SUV of the same name?

That really is a terrible name. My 90yo old school teacher was called Gobnait so it's been around for ages.

I just saw a baby Jackxson on Facebook, it hurt my head ... just call the child Jackson, or (if you must) Jaxon ... Jackxson, what an absolute monstrosity of a name.

I know a couple who named their son Jackson, which isn't a usual name in Ireland but I got corrected on the spelling - it's Jaxon. Fair enough. It's a pretty popular name right now even though I think it spells like a cleaning fluid but Jackxson??? Why would you do that to a child. I know there is a push in the last five/ten years for kids to have a Younique name it's getting ridiculous.

I just came across a "mommy blogger" (puke) whose kids are called Kyle, Noa Belle, Briar, and Milla.

    Reminds me of this legend:

I read skylar or skyler is a name used in america,
also heard a podcaster call their son xandar.
There,s no way that child will not be bullied at school .
Americans now just seem to take random letters and make up names,
its not as if theres not a 100 old names to use like joe, jack, john,
    etc
Alot of kids are named after characters in tv show,s .

I just looked up the name Briar, because that stood out in particular as a rotten name to impose on a child. One of the parents have to have been coerced into agreeing to that.
Anyway, as I said I looked it up. If you were unsure about it, according to this website these names are similar to it:
    Braxon
    Trillian
    Haruki
    Frost
    Halston
    Harlem
    Windsor
    Kaiser
    Pippin
    Tomasz
    Camerron
    Kealan
    Kolin
    Zadin
    Silvestro
    Ashtine

In a conference call at work with a customer called Geoff, took great offence to his name being pronounced as "Jeff" and insisted on being called "Gee-off". Have to assume he considers it short for Gee-offrey.

Sounds like he could tour schools talking about bullying. Give some McNuggets of wisdom to the kids.

That's pretty much how the Paddy Power lad got his job.
None of the three original company investors was called Paddy, they just called it Paddy Power because it sounded 'Oirish'.
Luckily enough one of the the lads youngsters was called Paddy (I'm guessing Patrick) but he became the face of Paddy Power for that reason only.
