Make sure ya get your order in before 3pm so you'll definately have it by tomorrow...infact, with it being a bank holiday try get your order placed by 2pm, that way they guys @ TBS will have plenty of time to get it out to you today! :)

I've decided to give this e-cigarette jazz a go. How does the following order look? Finding it hard to get a comprehensive and well-written beginner guide that doesn't quickly get bogged down in anorak levels of detail! Perhaps if I become a fan I'll start detailing my attempts to mod my atomizer so it can connect to the mains for a stronger throat hit.

You'd be best off adding a wall charger adapter too and you're good to go.

This is a more straightforward order from a different site and is everything a beginner should need (although I did the same as you)

    https://shop365.ie/epages/950002218.sf/secd4028cf6d5/?

Only need to add those 3 items and you're good to go. Plus you get the carry case. Free delivery too so it works out about the same. Would be cheaper if the 'starter' coupon is still valid but I'm not sure it is

Oh and it looks like it comes with instructions which I would have found handy! No harm adding a few cartomizers at €1.80 each too so you won't run out https://shop365.ie/epages/950002218.sf/secd4028cf6d5/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950002218/Products/XLDCC

looks good, did you forget the usb to mains adapter for the charger or are you just not bothering with it?

1000mah batteries are pretty long too, good batteries and will last ages between charges but be prepared for the length.

    other than that, looks good

I bought an Ecirette sample pack in Londis, and it came with a USB charger that I think should work (from reading a small bit about the process). I like the long battery life. How many charges does a battery last for (or is that a how long is a piece of string question?!)

    Thanks for the advice chaps.

Yep that's the one (no idea why my link wouldn't work). Looks like a nice set. I got all the same bits seperately from TBS but found so much selection on that site confusing at first :) Every time I look at the site I see something else I want - going to cost me a bloody fortune the way I'm going lol

How long a battery last for, is as you said how long is a piece of string. The Joyetech batteries are pretty good, and they should last for at least 300 charge cycles, so if you get a day out of a full charge, those two batteries should last you well over a year being charged once a day.

um.. i dont know if the usb charger weith the ecirette will work on the larger ego style batteries. or maybe they do work.. but would take half a week to charge. either way im pretty sure they're not reccomended

it's a piece of string question yeah.. a battery should last you a year at least although some of us here have had some crap out after less than that and some are still using the same ones they got well over a year ago i'm sure.

    --edit

    got this form another site

the 510 is the battery i assume you got in your londis starter pack. slim type of battery? kinda cigarette sized?
Don't attempt to charge a regular 510 battery with an eGo charger...it'll destroy it.
You can charge the eGo battery on a regular 510 AC or USB charger ONLY if you use the "special" charging adaptor.

You can charge an eGo battery with a regular 510 charger..it just takes 3X longer than using the eGo charger.

so yeah you shoud be ok charging the ego battery with the charger that you already have.. but it's better to get a charger with your order

Just thought I'd share my success. I had been on and off the cigarettes ever since I started using the e-cig, mainly only smoking real ones on the weekend (about 5 of them in total, and only with drink)

When I was on holidays I went swimming with both of my e-cigs in my pocket :o as a result I got a bit heavy on the analogs again. When I came home it took a while to get back to kicking the analogs out of my weekdays, but I gradually got back into the e-cigs.

I realized that the main reason I still craved cigs when being around other smokers, was because I was using nicotine eliquid continually, which is pointless if you ask me. So, I gradually started mixing in no-nic eliquid, which doesn't have much of a taste. That ended up working, and I went through about five weekends without analogs, and then I lost the e-cig at a perfect time, I realized there was no need to even buy another one, because I wasn't even using nicotine. It's been about 7 weeks now since I smoked.

It truly was a nice and easy way to stop smoking, and even if some freak event causes me to take another drag I'll know what to do the next time.

It feels to healthy to not smoke now, white teeth, can actually run up the stairs without nearly dying, longevity more money, and best of all I think it's great to not be preoccupied with when I'll have my next cig. Oh and my taste buds are alive again and I am finding it much easier to eat healthy foods.

Okay yeah I went on a bit much there, but e-cigs do work.

I think for those of you starting off a refillable atomiser is the best way to go, its much simpler
