SWTOR is consuming me at the moment but yes, it's nice having a big list of games to be played on boring long nights.

    Purchases:
    • HL2: Episode 1
    • HL2: Episode 2
    • Psychonauts
    • Jamestown Gunpowder DLC
    • Broken Sword Triple Pack
    • Edge
    • Star Wars Battlefront II
    • Sequence
    • Serious Sam Gold Pack
    • TF2 Glengarry Bonnet + Premium Upgrade
    • Left 4 Dead 2
    • The Binding of Isaac
    • Arx Fatalis
    • Toki Tori

    Total: €27.80

I also got Half Life Deathmatch: Source, but I have no idea how.....it wasn't a prize at any rate.

    Prizes:

    • Portal 2

Edge - a fantastic puzzle game, reminds me a bit of Kula World. Great soundtrack.

Jamestown - got it from a Humble Bundle, I think. The DLC made this shooter even better! Excellent soundtrack!

Battlefront II - liked it a lot when it was first released. Can't wait to play it again.

Serious Sam, Arx Fatalis and Broken Swords - great classics, can't wait to play them again :)

I was disappointed Oblivion wasn't cheaper, it was on sale for €2.50 one day and I've been kicking myself for not buying it!

I didn't buy anything, my backlog is big enough as it is

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,067 ✭✭✭Gunmonkey

    terraria would be really fun.

Aye, it is a great game. Managed to spend far more time than I will admit over the past few days playing it at a friends, ended up with me just bombing his house as he tried to build it :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,324 ✭✭✭chrislad

I shouldn't have bought anything as I have a massive 360 list to finish, but I did anyway.

    Batman: Arkham City - 24.99
    GTA Collection - 9.99
Jedi Knight Series - 2.74 or something like that
    Republic Commando - 2.74 also
    BioShock 2 - 4.99

Mainly a console gamer, but that takes my steam library up to a paltry 20 games!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,370 ✭✭✭Colmo52

I managed to limit myself to €15

    Terraria
    Arkham Asylum GOTY
    Counter Strike:Source
    LIMBO

    And i got:
    Half Life
    Half Life 2
    Portal
    The Ship

    For FREE :)

Thank you for making me feel less bad about my splurging. :)

We all learn the lessons about what not to do with credit cards the hard way I'm afraid!

I have a 500gb partition. If I were to actually download my entire library I would need to give it the other half of the TB. And thensome.

Well I got a PC as an unexpected present at Christmas so the whole Steam sale was kind of sprung on me.

Since I'm completely new to the whole thing I didn't go too mad, but I can easily see how you could. I have a backlog of 360 games too so didn't want to go too crazy.

I got LFD2, Amnesia, Dark Fall: Lost Souls and the Stalker Bundle which I'm sure are plenty to keep me busy a while.

Is Christmas the only time they have a sale or are there others throughout the year?

Nah they have a couple during the year. Usually you'll still have unplayed games from the last one when the next one rolls around, or so is my experience. :)
