Thanks, I'll give that a go. Aye I think I'll stick to mouth to lung for the time being, it seems to be what I'm used to. Though I'd definitely like to try a direct to lung setup sometime just to see the difference.

When it comes to making your own coils are there any other really essential tools on that end besides the obvious tweezers and pliers? I've noticed people using different types of button activated ohm testers with a handy slot you just plug in your tank to that you can also build your coil on and test the heat spread at the same time. Some people also use a simple screwdriver to make the coils, others ive seen use kinda bicycle pump gizmos? Seem to be a few different tools out there to help things along.

On a side note I tried ordering some Japanese cotton from Muji but they dont seem to deliver to Ireland... I could parcelmotel it but its half the cost of the actual cotton which it a bit off putting. Is there a preferred site most people use for materials like that overall? Like darkstar seems to be the preferred place for liquids.

Everything you need to get started is available here.

You’ll also need a sharp scissors and a good wire cutters, one that cuts flush to the posts. Something like this.

    https://m.fasttech.com/products/2252/10003258/1243300-plato-170-flush-cutter-for-rebuildable-atomizers

Tabs are good for building on, you can check the resistance, dry burn etc but you can also do all this with your atty on a regulated mod as well so it might be a bit of an unnecessary expense at the moment.

Btw if you buy from bestshop use the discount code Irishvape for 10% off and free shipping on everything over €60.

bestshop seems a bit limited though, think I'll look around if there are no other suggestions material suppliers wise. Fasttech, is that a chinese supplier? another gearbox?

Limited?? In what sense?? You’ll basically get the same from any supplier as a means to starting out.
Fastech are Chinese but their delivery times are a bit better than GearBest.

Limited in selection that is, though still better than most Irish based competitors. The whole layout turns me off as well, its pretty ancient/ugly/unintuitive, reeeeally easy to get a proper modern ecommerce setup these days. So it just looks kinda unprofessional to me. But once again most ecig sites are like that I've noticed, no real effort put into the design side. I'm a bit of a design/marketing nerd too tho so I'd be a bit more sensitive to it all.

Hello all looking to see if anyone can help. I got a bottle of juice online from a Irish vendor the site was perfectvaping. Com

They seem to of shut up shop and I was trying to get some more of there home brew juice as I given up smoking the e cigarette completely a few months back but I'm now picking up a dirty habit of tapping fags when out socialising, so would like to get some of a set up going.

Any body ever buy from them or heard that they have a new site??

I have no affiliation with tbs whatsoever. I have to say in their defence they are the most professional ecig site I have purchased from . Have ordered many times from them and always received it the next day. I can't say the same for many of the rest of the places .

Same here. I couldnt care less what the site looked like, once they have what I need and provide a good service which they do always.

I was gonna go for the asmodus minikin v2 tonight but its out of stock absolutely everywhere (or incredibly overpriced) I even tried ordering from asmodus directly but their only postage options cost almost as much as the mod itself! crazy stuff, must be really popular.

Any suggestions for a dual 18650 mod that's as slimline as possible (and not too costly)?

Just getting into sub-ohm vaping after buying the eleaf Aster RT posted on here as a sub 20 quid bargain, but it's not suitable for leaving the house without being done for going equipped for murder..

Doesn't need to be much over 50w capable, as I'm happy enough at 35w, but I'd like the dual batteries for a good day's vaping power..

Happy to buy 2nd hand if anyone has anything suitable they want rid of.

    Thanks for any ideas...

They're all pretty slim tbh but if you want dual batteries then that limits things size wise. After a ton of research for my own upgrade lately, the mods that come up most in terms of quality seem to be the Smoant Battlestar + Charon, Vaporesso Revenger, Voopoo Drag and the Tesla Nano 120.

Also I'm no expert or anything but one thing I have noticed is an incredible deeply emotional hatred for all things Smok on reddit, mostly related to the recent build quality of their Alien mod. Soooooo many people have said to steer clear of them.

Cheers dude, I took the plunge already though. Spent a stupid amount of money tonight on basically everything, after a few days of constant research and good feedback from you good folks. Hopefully will save a ton down the road!

Kangertech mods will be scarce because they don't make that many mods, not a leading mod maker compared to Innokin,Smok,Asmodus & many more...
