Do we know for sure if the ps3 will display the game in 1080?, unlike skyrim and red dead.

I'd say it's very unlikely, very few games have been in true 1080p.

Maybe we can now listen to music outside of vehicles, judging by the way is Michael wearing earphones.

When do people think we'll find out more about the multiplayer?

There has been very little mention of radio stations. We are getting them as usual, right?

I know it will be the first GTA with music during missions to make things dramatic etc but has there been any mention of radio stations?

Right, booked one day off work for this. I am off shift on the 17th anyway, so I booked the 18th too so i can have a good two-day run of the game.

Really undecided whether or not I should use another one or two of my holidays. I do have holiday days to spare, but wondering if I should use them for, I dunno, going outside the house or something.

    Ideas?

Stop being a fool. The obvious thing to do is quit your job. Going outside is overrated.

That is just crazy advice to give someone with it being so hard to find work these days. What he should do is use all his holidays to get a good 4 or 5 day run of the game to see if it really is as good as it looks, then quit his job.

Alright, I have taken your advice on board and have it all planned out. I have written my letter of resignation and dated it 16th August. That means that I can finish my one month notice and have one day to spare to stock up on pringles, microwave meals, coffee and red bull. Using this day, I will also adjust my sleep pattern so I can sleep for 4 hours in the evening from 7-11, which is when my housemates usually want to watch TV so I wake up when they are going to bed.

No cons with this plan from what I can see

Don't forget to sign up for free money from the social welfare office and then start a thread in After Hours about quitting your job and signing on the dole to free up GTA5 playing time.

True,he should probably also mention he's a black single mother from northern Ireland.

Don't forget her life is in danger and she must stay in Ireland for her safety......and to play GTA 5!

I'm still undecided about holidays. If it were out a week later or a week earlier, I'd already have four days off shortly after release. But since it's in between, I only have two days off before waiting a week for more time off. Need's a month notice so I'll have to decide in the next week or two.

I'd love to take a week but with a wife and two kids, even if I do take holidays my gaming time will be limited. I should probably tell her I'm going away with work. And I need my XBox for research :pac:

What about renting one of the rooms in the Gaming hotel in London? Going on a "business trip"

I actually go to London a few times a year and it's on the Excell line were I'd more than likely be working.
It doesn't come cheap, though, with one night's stay priced at £199 ($320), with multiple nights bookable.
All things considered that's a pretty decent price for a London hotel room that has so much free stuff thrown in. I usually stay in dives that cost around £60 a night but if I factor in money saved on pubs and food... It's still pricey, but it would allow me to play GTA V while keeping my PC dignity intact, which is priceless.

I'm in the same boat. Lucky the kids are only babies that sleep pretty much all through the night. Well, they will when GT5 comes out and they have a bottle of calpol each that night.
