A picture paints a thousand words....only my bet on more than 18.5 points in the 1st half of the France vs England match saved my bacon. It could have been so different if Tommy Bowe's try hadn't been disallowed and if Wales had only got 1 more point. :D

Anyone have any opinion on how they are likely to price up the U20 game against England?

I was thinking maybe +7ish ?? Unfortunately I can't see us beating England.

    6N bet this weekend

Big on Ireland +7.5 / Italy + 7.5 double on the Alternative Handicaps to give a 1.25 return.

Cheltenham cleared me out. Relying on Mr Bowe to get 2 tries tomorrow. If he does, I will forever celebrate March 17th as Tommy Bowe Day.

Had to empty my PP a/c today to pay bills so I'm out this weekend - probably enjoy the games more as a result. :D

yep nice odds for a Bowe double, also went for SOB MOM 9/1 say he will be like a caged animal let loose tomorrow, and D Ryan again at 40/1 .

    Just hope we win.

Munster -2 at the moment with PP.

Munster -2 at the moment with PP.

Have a look at the HT/FT market there.

Doesn't 7 strike you as a bit too much for "any result involving a draw". Especially considering the first half is likely to be a "trading penalties" type of game?

I'm taking a little piece of that.

Forward to get the first try at 15/8...?

    10/03/12 T1 Montpellier 37 - 26 Bayonne (lost 9)

    7/10 games lost +8 Handicap

Appears 50:50 but Perpignan will know that a win here (and denying Bayonne a LBP) will almost guarantee their safety for next season

Don't wanna boast or anything but BOOM:cool:

    Perpignan 47-9 Bayonne

Leinster have gone from -10 to -13 but there's still a bit of -12 around if people are quick.

    Cardiff are in free fall

Leinster -18 would be a more realistic spread.

Leinster are 1/9 to win. That is unbelievable for a HC qf.

Any ideas on the Stade Francais Exeter game tonight?

PP have Exeter at +11. They're in great form at the moment though and while they did lose to Perpignan in the pool stages it was only by 3 points.

haha I dunno, don't really like betting in HEC or Amlin
the domestic leagues usually easier to predict
couple games in Pro D2 in France on tomorrow but I'v been to busy watching the Masters to research anything
two teams have big handicaps Tarbes +14 v away at La Rochelle and Perigeux +17 v away to Dax- teams don't tend to get destroyed in this league but I prob wouldn't bother betting tbh

That said, Brive is +7 at home to Scarlets in Amlin? Could someone explain this please? Surely its not just based on Wales's Grand Slam?

How close is that to Brive'sv strongest team? Seems a crazy price to me.

Brive: 15 Mathias Atayi, 14 Jacques Boussuge, 13 Ronnie Cooke, 12 Riaan Swanepoel, 11 Sevania Galala, 10 Shane Geraghty, 9 Jean-Baptiste Pejoine, 8 Petrus Hauman, 7 Alexandre Bias, 6 Vincent Forgues, 5 Olivier Caisso, 4 Julien Le Devedec, 3 Pat Barnard, 2 Virgile Lacombe (capt), 1 Jefferson Poirot.
Replacements: 16 Iuri Natriashvili, 17 Davit Khinchagishvili, 18 Alexandre Barozzi, 19 Retief Uys, 20 Poutasi Luafutu, 21 Augustin Figuerola, 22 Scott Spedding, 23 Arnaud Mignardi.

Scarlets: 15 Liam Williams, 14 George North, 13 Gareth Maule, 12 Jonathan Davies, 11 Andrew Fenby, 10 Stephen Jones, 9 Gareth Davies, 8 Ben Morgan, 7 Jon Edwards, 6 Josh Turnbull, 5 Damian Welch, 4 Sione Timani, 3 Deacon Manu, 2 Matthew Rees, 1 Rhodri Jones.
Replacements: 16 Ken Owens, 17 Phil John, 18 Peter Edwards, 19 Dominic Day, 20 Kieran Murphy, 21 Rhodri Williams, 22 Rhys Priestland, 23 Sean Lamont.

It is a strong Scarlets team but Brive are sitting in 9th in T14- safe from relegation and too far of making the play-offs, so I'd assume they would target this game at home to get to a semi-final..? When you look at last two games Brive have played at home they have beaten Toulon and Stade Francais..
The Bookies obliviously know something we don't?

Clermont +3 with StanJames looks the bet today.
I was looking at their team and they have class all over the field. I was comparing the 2 teams on paper and they are nearly better in every position. Clermont have only lost 1 of their last 13 matches and that was against Biarritz last week, where they rested players. They are all out for the Heineken cup this year as it is their centenary year.
I watched Saracens last week against Quins and they were terrible. They rely too heavily on Farrell with penalties and their backs can be very lathergic at times. Saracens show the premiership of what it is a competition of very mediocre teams. They are an honest bunch of players, but are not in the same league as teams like Leicester or Wasps in years gone by. With Hodgson and Wigglesworth at halfbacks, they are going nowhere.
I think Clermont will win this with a bit to spare, maybe 5 points.

They don't travel. There's no doubt they are the better team, but like toulouse, will they turn up?
