Ah now. Some of them got very little and poor pensions. Don't exaggerate.

I dont think I'm being unfair with that one... Anybody who left either had 1) something better or equivalent to go to, and left to avail of the lump sum or 2) had a good enough pension to make it worth their while retiring and taking the lump sum.. (as it was sort of implied that the same good deal would not be on the table again)

Anybody who didnt have something better to go to, or didnt have a good pension, simply stayed...

I think most of what RBB says is rubbish but at least he comes on the programme, most of the people from the other parties are backbenchers that noone has heard of.

There seems to be a real problem getting Ministers or even Junior Ministers to come on and debate on the show compared to Primetime which seems to get them on most nights.

I don't know is it the fact that they don't like VB or TV3 in general.

Natural wastage is doing that. Not replacing retirees.

How are people on less than 30 k supposed to take more cuts and still pay bills?

I thought it was for people on 60 k or over.

I thought it was for people on 60 k or over.

The people working nights, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays regardless of wage are being cut on these rates according to the News.

Jesus, Vincent will do anything, even spend a large chunk of his show, on proving that he was right on some issue months ago.

This is beyond childish between himself and the Irish Times economics editor fella.

Even Vincent's stats that proved he was right were presented upside down on screen.

Congrats TV3, 10 minutes of absolute bollox right there.

    Sinead is completely useless.

All you have to do is drive through a southside area like Blackrock and then drive through Crumlin and you'll see inequality!

It was a bit childish from Vincent alright but it's that kind of thing that makes the show.

The upside down figures with blue biro circles and underlining of figures was a laugh though.

Typical Hearld sort of stuff. First time to see Sinead in real life, have followed her on twitter, her avatar must be her daughter. As I said typical Hearld stuff, quality reporting.

She's just awful. She has an opinion and is unable to say why she has that opinion.

    Priests supporting communism?

The hot topic of the day was Croke Park II; he has no interest in it - at least not compared to this garbage about equality. He's also innumerate. Could he even understand the point Dan O'Brien was making about the revision of the coefficient?

Vincent waited months to show these out of date figures to Dan o brien, when he comes on the show he cant find them and when he does they are upside down and circled with a biro.

Last night's show was a poor waste of an hour's sleep.
The standard is seriously dropping and VB is like an old lad who is losing the plot quickly with all the stuttering and mistakes he makes, waffle, waffle, waffle.
Plus the advert breaks are now 7 to 8 minutes long.

agree totally. watched the other night and he couldn't string two words together and when he did it was "we have to take another commercial break" ?

Does he need glasses to read the cue cards or what?
