Socialism used to mean everybody works hard and the spoils are evenly spread among everybody (in theory)... Socialism nowadays consists of doing fuk all and giving out about the State cutting your handouts..

Ah good auld barstools. No education for me, I've got my barstool.

    FF+SF and everyone else

It would be hilarious seeing Sinn Féin implementing the benefit cuts that will be forced on us by the IMF.. it would nearly be worth voting them in to see Adams, Big Mac and the others trying to justify themselves..

There should be more prison spaces Willie, for people who knowingly swear false affidavits.

It is like George Lee all over again, Peter has lots of good ideas but no one is prepared to listen to him. I reckon that people like Noonan and Bruton feel threatened by him.

Fionnán is married to a FF Senator.. He is not independent... If he says anything against Fianna Fáil, he'll get belted across the head with a cheeky charlie when he goes home.

I think that is rubbish to be honest, Fionnan wrote plenty of negative stories about Bertie and Fianna Fail when they were in power.

Claire Daly on wanting to allow the unborn to killed tonight.

She won't mention how one of the cases where the state sent a girl to England to have an abortion after she had been raped and became pregnant asked to see her baby after the abortion.
She had told the HSE staff that she didn't want to keep her baby, they took it to mean she wanted an abortion and she didn't understand that an abortion meant her unborn would be killed.
She said on the Pat Kenny show that she was traumatised by the abortion.

Stats show abortion rates for Ireland are lower than other countries, about 5% of pregnancies are aborted compared to 20% in the UK and France.

So on the basis of that anecdote, no-one should have abortions?

Stats also show that 12 women a day are crossing the Irish Sea to have abortions in Britain.

As long as we turn a blind eye to reality here, we will continue to export our problems.

It is shameful that the state is turning its back on these women at a time when they most need protection.
