I'd love to know what a government of Joe Higginses would actually do with the ECB.
Or even a government of Gerry Adamses :pac:

It'd nearly be worth voting them in just for the lulz. :pac:

Elaine Byrne lost a lot of credibility when she refused to put her money where her mouth was and run in the last election. She's happy enough to take the Trinity salary and write her books...

Bollox. So you have an opinion? Yes ok well please enter the madhouse. I dont blame her or Dunphy or O' Toole for passing on that one. They add more value on the sideline

Love the way George Hook laughs off any notion that he could possibly be biased.
    Can't stand him tbh.

Vinnie has now spent half an hour talking about Independent newspapers. I doubt that too many people outside of the Dublin 4 chattering classes care that much.

Trying to picture Vinny reading Carol Hunt in the Sindo. :D

Vinnie has a new blond to speak to at the end of the show.

At least this programme is not controlled by the Govt in the same way they control R.T.E.

She looks a bit like a very thin Drew Barrymore.

Jim Power is on. Sorry, but I have had enough of listening to him.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,219 ✭✭✭woodoo

I missed that there. Was Vinnie apologising for something he said about Joe Higgins?

    Hamfisted panel tbh.

What a load of sanctimonious, self serving claptrap from Louis Bayliss... At what stage did it become the State's responsibility to provide babysitting facilities for her ?

But her point is very relevant. If they want them to work then they must allow them the chance to do so. If they can't afford babysitters and are expected to work then it puts innocent children in a bad situation.

I heard Jim talking on the radio last week, and he said that he was on the boards of two schools... I wonder what the muslim children and their parents would think of his opinions on Islam..

Louise Bayliss is the HSE whistleblower. She is becoming a Vinny B favourite, in the same way as Glenna Lynch.

Easy know this guy worked for the IMF.
He could just as easily be working for the EU/ECB.
The patronising tone and refusal to actually make explicit his opinion.
It's quite clear where he's coming from.

Jaysus, I don't think Jimbo will be getting a job with the United Nations anytime soon.

    It's Jim Power: Economic Guru.
The guys record is beyond reproach.
    Everyone should listen to him.

He is after talking shyte about single parents there. People do not choose to be abandoned, for their husbands/partners to die etc. Poor stuff.
