Plenty of VB regulars on that Committee, sure TV3 can find an eyewitness if Peter can't make it.

This FG guy reminds me so much of Charles Grodin.
Wonder if there'll be any new insights tonight :p:pac:

And here goes Vincent again.. Another ten minutes wasted on petty squabbling about something in the FG manifesto... An argument that could have taken place at any time since the election... We're meant to be discussing about what Olli Rehn said..

Easy for a rich man with foreign business interests to let Ireland go back to punt and leave the country as a basket case.

    Mary Lou is funny.

"No Europe, how dare you ask us to live within our means! If SF are elected, not only will we not live within our means but we will still expect you to loan us the money to do so!"

    Mary Lou is hot.

And if we default, who does Mary Lou think will pay all of her supporters' dole ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,718 ✭✭✭✭JonathanAnon

Vincent asked a very good question of Mary Lou MacDonald there... The shinners have no response to what happens if Europe stops lending us money...

And then he let her off the hook completely with her wishy washy answer.

Don't you love these carping and preaching opposition politicians like Ganley and Mary-Lou who you know when they get into power won't buck the system.

Wait the country is already bankrupt, the governments so far are just in denial. And like to repeat back to opposition party, if you did what your talking about we'd be back in the 1980s. And also like using populist phases such as "pie in the sky economics".

In saying that I do agree that they wouldn't do half the things the preach much like FG and Labour now.

Well, Good evening folks. You haven't from me in a while.

Tonight's programme is about the household charge; do you think it is fair or unfair.

Mick Wallace is on if you're watching.

Does anyone understand what Mick is saying?
