    Decided to use one of my 3 keys there. Bit disappointed. No weapons just two relics. One that increases my second wind capabilities not sure about the other though. Oh well. Might use another one!

    edit: much better second time around. nice sniper rifle as well as a damn good shottie. One left.

    didnt realise till a nano second too late. Saw the box, went up to it thinking it was just a stashbox, clicked, then thought,"oh is that box gold".

    At the rate they are being given away though, it doesnt seem so bad I used it at level 7.

    Was only level 8 when I did and got two decent pistols but have replaced them already by level 11.

    Golden Keys should be really rare drops from enemies rather than a code given out over Twitter, And obviously they will not be giving them out forever so if someone purchases BL2 a month or two from now how do they obtain golden keys?:/

    What exactly is Shift? The only explanation I could find is this:
    Gearbox Software Shift is described as an online account service, where players can "redeem Shift Codes to unlock exclusive content for Borderlands 2." The manual goes one further by hinting at a Golden Loot Chest in the game whose contents are "only available through something called a 'Shift Code.'"

    It just seems like an awkward idea, If they developed Shift to just be a method to redeem codes and unlock keys so they must have plans for it?

    Ah, they're only golden keys. You'll events get better guns than Purple weapons by level 50.

    I just successfully activated one for the PC. If they are like the rest of them, they should only remain active for the next hour or two. So get them while they are hot!

    This will make up for ...accidently opening the golden chest at level 7 :p
