    "Rich Franklin versus Little Nog"

    Has there ever been a more unexciting fight advertised for a PPV event at the UFC?

    Franklin is a joke and always had been. Thought he was a contender coming up to the Silva fight.

    But the guy does't seem to go away. He's not even a gatekeeper at this stage. Just another white American still in the promotion cause of some sort of weird fan following.
    Just kick this ****ing asshole into the water somewhere.

    They should just divide the lightweight division into three weight classes or something because they have contenders coming out of their ears.

    He did enough to win the first and third I thought, got hammered in the 2nd but not 10-8, so I'm happy enough

    Yeah it was a close call really. I'd say judges love Siver because he hits so cleanly and is likely to get far on scorecards even though he's not dominating all the time. Wiman probably won't be going too far down the pecking order though. Both top notch fighters.

    Thought that decision could've gone either way. I gave Siver first round but it was close. Wiman round 2 and 3rd was another tight one.

    The second round was so one sided that it made Siver's overal performance look a lot worse than it was. Apart from round 2 his takedown defense was brilliant!

    For me he just edged it but I can see why Wiman was pissed about it.
