    I got my letter today as well. For people who don't know, anyone who opts to reinvest their winnings gets a letter telling them they have won, and the new bond usually arrives the following day.

    I can't remember getting a letter on Monday ever before, usually Tuesday or Wednesday.

    That was a quick delivery of a cheque - these days it takes to Wed for mine to come (the odd time I'm due one!)

    Maybe because it’s as DX posts, letter only saying your reinvested bond is being issued, so they are not actually issuing a cheque.

    Nothing for me. My new bonds received this week are in the AOW series. Another million or so issued since, and looks like someone in Limerick got an immediate return on their new investment. Also seven wins in Down, and very likely three of them to the same person.

    That's very strange - that two bonds, exactly 2000 apart, would appear .... and that three brand new bonds within 2000 would win in the same week ....

    It's just the nature of the draw. Whatever happened on the previous "spin of the wheel" has no influence on the next one. With the vast number of "tickets" in the draw, a far more likely outcome is very big spaces between winning numbers. Only ten winners out of nearly one million of the very newest bonds.

    You've done very well this year and it's only August, I don't think I'II catch up, only €150euro this year on my 60k, nothing this week, last win Friday 7th June.

    It's exceptional, but as I am seeing in every draw it is possible for someone to far exceed the average. This may be three bondholders in Galway, but more likely it is one. Either way it shows that as little as €25K can win €150 in one draw. Last week showed that it could happen for as little as €12,500. Often there are fewer than 100 numbers between two winners.

    Referring back to last week, I checked the newest 10 million bonds in the draw this week. All bonds newer than three months are in the draw. 86 winners from 10 million.

    Hi. Yes, it's at €25k still. I'm assuming it's just luck but it has been a good run this year so far no mistake.
