NYC boundless berry and a gold-ish striper. It looks kind of brown in this light but as the name suggests it's a lovely deep berry colour. I love the finish on the NYC polishes but they haven't brought out any nice ones recently, same with essence. I miss buying a new colour very week!

Am back to work tomorrow after two weeks off so I wanted something bright that will cheer me up in the morning! This is Emily De Molly 'Where Boys Fear To Tread' and it's everything I've ever wanted in a pink polish!

Well they are a pretty smooth application so if you don't usually use a base and top coat you probably wouldn't need to. I always use a base and top coat just because I don't trust any polish to not stain my nails and because they chip like crazy if I don't!

I bought a couple of new essence bits today, including this gorgeous polish. It's called Be Berry Now! It looks quite pink in the pic but it's darker in the flesh, I love it!

Does anyone else ever have nail disasters? I have painted them 3 times this even and made a mess of every attempt! So annoying. Eventually settled for something simple, matt grey and silver glitter. I'll have another craic at the fancy stuff at the weekend!

I'm going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and I'm stuck on what to do with my nails. My dress is white on top with a black skirt, I'm wearing a black shrug thing. My shoes are red, my bag is red, my hair is also red.

Any suggestions?

I'd go for a nude polish, or a very quiet opaque pink colour... or, on the opposite end of the scale, a high-shine black with a fun feature nail to pick up the other colours in your outfit

If your nails are long enough you could do Louboutin style nails with pink and red

Would you go for white nails? I definitely wouldn't go for red. I think white nails would look great in contrast to the black skirt.
