They should of had a couple of thousand kids in there. It would look a bit better.

Liz and Philip look like they enjoy chatting to the ordinary poor Irish!

Philip making a move on Mary while Christy Cooney bores the Queen about how he built the stadium himself

I am big GAA fan and today is a day I taught I would never see. But I am delighted that the Queen has made this historic trip and goes to show Ireland has moved on from the dark days.

Does this new bridge building mean we'll have to give the UK 12 points in the Eurovision from now on? :(

With the amount we got in grants / handouts / structural funds / common agricultural policies from the EEC / EC over 40 years, and the hundreds of billions we borrowed during the tiger years, it is kind of unusual to need the UK / IMF / EU to come to our rescue last NOV, when nobody else would lend us money anymore.

With respect, I think you've lost your train of thought :D

Yep. Apart of the Greek royal family born on some Greek island and as a kid he was smuggled out of the country in a fruit box because of some sort of coup and they thought the family would be killed....

Will she be doing anything actually enjoyable during her visit?

I'm feeling quite sorry for the old dear. She's 85 and she must be bored to tears half the time. "Oh great, a pipe* band..."

You think Ireland needs money continually from the UK?

Yeah, I think this is the last of these kinds of visits. Tomorrow I think the nice part of the visit begins for her.
