Scott Free Inks CBS Studios Deal.

    Jean Claude Van Johnson
Scott Free is developing Jean Claude Van Johnson, a half-hour comedy starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, which Scott said would show the martial arts and film star in a new light that would surprise fans. In the project, written/executive produced by Dave Callaham, Van Damme plays Jean-Claude Van Damme, a global martial arts and film star operating under the alias of “Johnson,” the most dangerous undercover private contractor in the world.

    Rubber Guns
Comedy, written by TJ Fixman, with Scott Gemmill (NCIS) supervising
After solving the murder of their therapist, four mentally unstable Miami cops form an “odd squad” in the basement of the Miami Police Department. Their mandate for these “Rubber Guns” is to take the spillover cases the other cops don’t want.

    Sensory
drama written/executive produced by David Zabel
Based on the true story of Dr. Joel Salinas, Sensory centers on Daniel Polanco, a 4th year med student diagnosed with mirror-touch synesthesia, a condition whereby he is able to vividly feel—or “mirror”—the physical and emotional sensations of other people. He has to navigate through the ways in which his condition could be both an asset and a liability. Sony TV, where ER alum Zabel is based, is co-producing with CBS Studios.

    Untitled Sunny Hostin
    drama written by Elle Johnson
Based on the life and career of former Assistant U.S. Attorney Sunny Hostin, the project centers on a hotshot young lawyer forced to acknowledge her own family’s criminal history when she becomes a federal prosecutor.

Scott Free is repped by WME. Fixman is repped at WME, Grandview, and Bloom Hergott. Hostin is repped by WME and Elle Johnson by WME and Hansen, Jacobson.

RTE Denies it. The wording of the article is interesting, seems to indicate it wont ever happen !!

That would be a shame, as I love his shows, but this one has been a bit crap though, and quite annoying a lot of the time. Not surprised it was cancelled, as it has that air about it.

    Lost in Space

Lost in Space Remake Lands at Netflix
The Tanners and the Gilmores aren’t the only TV families coming to Netflix in the near future.
In a competitive situation, a reboot of the 1965 cult series Lost in Space has landed at the streaming giant.

The original comedy, which ran from 1965 to 1968, centered on the Robinson family as they attempted to colonize another planet in deep space — a mission that was sabotaged by a foreign secret agent and caused their ship to get knocked off course.
According to our sister site Deadline, the updated version is an epic (but grounded!) sci-fi saga about “a young explorer family from Earth, lost in an alien universe, and the challenges they face in staying together against seemingly insurmountable odds

Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Dracula Untold) will write the project and exec-produce with Kevin Burns, Neil Marshall and Marc Helwig.

Tremors to be made into a tv programme again. Starring Kevin Bacon this time. http://www.breakingnews.ie/showbiz/kevin-bacon-will-bring-his-90s-cult-monster-movie-tremors-to-the-small-screen-707332.html

Earth-shaking news! Kevin Bacon is set to revive his iconic 90s movie Tremors, bringing the man-eating worms to the small screen.

The film was followed by a string of low-budget sequels, and Michael returned to the story when Tremors was adapted into a Syfy channel TV series in 2003, playing survivalist and worm-killer Burt Gummer.

However, this is the first time Kevin has returned to face the underground monsters.

Kevin is set to be an executive producer, as well as the lead actor on the TV show.

I loved all the films and even the first tv series. My big concern is they'll cgi the sh!t out of it and ruin it.

5 films a TV series already not bad for a B-Movie from 1990.

Hope the bring Fred Ward back and you can't have Tremors without Michael Gross.

    Sesame Street

I have scary visions of an adult Sesame Street now.

    Sesame Street moves to HBO.
The Big Bird watching on premium cable is less than two months away. HBO will be sweepin’ the clouds away starting January 16 as Sesame Street changes addresses after 45 years on PBS. Two new episodes of the iconic preschooler series will bow back-to-back with its new half-hour format, new opening and closing songs and an updated set. And there will be a new segment called “Smart Cookies” with Cookie Monster that teaches “a Smart Cookie has to stop and think things through.”

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind the series, and HBO partnered in August to bring first-run episodes of Sesame Street to the premium channel and its streaming outlets. The group will produce 35 new half-hour episodes a year, down from 18 hourlong shows in the past. The new episodes will be available on free TV at PBS after an exclusive nine-month window on HBO.
