"Kid's" wouldn't love chips and pizza Brenda if the parents didn't have them on it as part of their daily diet...

I've just sent in a text answer for the quiz. I reckon the answer is Barney Eastwood.

Why do RTE continue to give publicity to this bully? She should be consigned to the dustbin of TV history.

    Blannidge I presume?

This discussion is such a load of rubbish. Life happens. People have babies. If you don't want babies, take the pill and have a career instead.

I'm amazed no one is talking about men looking after the babies, I mean they're responsible for them too.

    Absolutely.

Life is all about give and take. It amuses me that "career couples" seem to think they can keep their careers going, and bring up kids at the same time, and then cry foul when the State doesn't do enough to pay for their childcare - the children that they chose to have.

    Makes his living on it.

Amend that to.... Most sensible people don't give a shi!t.

What would Brenda Donohoe do if she was let go from the Mooney show?
    Seriously?
Her whole point seems to be, to cheerlead Mooney, and offer up such nuugets as, "Oh I luuurrrrve that song" etc.
How can this show afford to waste any resources?

What is wrong with Derek's voice??...

He has hit every high note of the scale introducing the "fascinating fog of Paris" slot..

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

This is a great informative program if you're in Paris....

    Which I'm not...

I was thinking the same thing myself. Who cares about the traffic congestion in Paris, unless you're actually living there? I doubt the French radio version of Le Mooney Show will be doing a piece on Dublin traffic anytime soon.

No, Richard - "billion" means 1000 million everywhere these days. It was the British that had the non-standard meaning of it to be a million million. In America and among the rest of the scientific community (except Richard, who "doesn't like" the term) it was 1000 million.

Is there anything he doesn't know?
