    Hi all,

I've been on Darkys 9.2 for months & I suddenly started getting the zero ring volume problem in the last week. WTF?

Is it possible the zero ring problem isn't related to Ficetos new ROM but something else common to us all? A rogue app or virus even?

    Ben

Me too, and still perfect. You guys are making me paranoid.

I think there`s a fair difference between free version and pro, I had free version for a while and it was a pain in the roll restoring apps, since I got the pro I`ve never had any problems.

I doubt its Ficeto`s ROM, its rock solid, have you tried different tones?

I haven't installed any new apps lately. The zero volume seems to have gone away for the time being. So annoying though as I have a couple of important calls I am waiting on and can't afford to miss them. Once it doesn't happen my alarm I am happy enough.

Can someone please post a screen shot of the Gingerbread Red dialler.
I've flashed GB Red twice and neither time did the default wallpaper flash. I'm just wondering if I'm missing out on a themed dialler too

Edit: Just flicked through GB Red thread on XDA and I see our good friend mloc33!!! has already requested a themed dialler. Guess it's not themed so:)

Complete, no hassle so far anyway... A 30 min job was all...

    Restoring apps here now...

Very smooth so far I must say, feels very responsive...

Will I let the battery go dead tonight then give it a full charge and wipe battery status then when full?...

Just use it as normal, when it gets to 2-3% charge it, either way that battery will settle down.

That`s going to be my next theme at some stage.

I found an old Nokia ca-75u and you can use it to hook your SGS up to the tv, lol MAD!!

You sure there not on your external, I know there`s certain folders that don`t get wiped, I can`t remember which tough...

I also posted my earlier query about the incoming sound going to Zero on Darkyrom Forum.
    Ficeto gave this reply
"you better reflash the ODIN one and do all your settings (not restore from TB or anything else like it) I've been on my JVH ever since I made it and I have had 0 issues (appart from the random battery drain sometimes)"......
Hopefully later I will flash the ODIN version.

Well, I reflashed ODIN about 26 hours ago and so far the ring tone has not gone to zero.
I reflashed and restored apps manually - not using titanium backup.
Well, I did use SmS Backup and Restore but that was the only one.
I haven't flashed CWM and don't know if I'll bother.
I do miss swype - I have to get that back someway.
But reflashing with manual restores of apps worked for me.
    As always, ymmv.

No data gets wiped from the internal sd. All the settings etc get wiped but not your sd card folders.

Very impressed so far with Ficeto's JVH ROM..

    Installed Dark Core 2.4...

And then themed it with the Sensation theme..

Very smooth so far, no bugs to report, all apps restored with data it seems and up and running along with the market links...

More snappier than before it feels...

Will see how battery goes now.. Was getting 2 days average use from Darkys 9.3...

I was just looking at this and was wondering, since I`ve no problem with my FFC and my BLN is fine, other than that is there any need/gain to flash this?

From what I see on Darky`s site this is an Odin version?
I know I see CWM here but not there, maybe its to early here...lol

No need I would say. I'm not going to flash it anyway.

Grand cake Nora, I think I`m getting fed up with Red Gingerbread theme, I`ve seen a lot of people who use Ficeto`s JVH have it, I wonder.......
