I think this guy is still available and if so I'm delighted to get him. A guy with tremendous in-ring ability and charisma who probably didn't reach the heights that he should have in wrestling. Nevertheless at his height he was a terrific wrestler. My eighth pick is the former NWA World Champion and one-time horseman...

    13.jpg

    And some of his accomplishments...
    Championship Wrestling from Florida

NWA Florida Global Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Ron Bass[71]
NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship (6 times)[72]
NWA Florida Tag Team Championship (2 times) – with Mike Graham (1) and Scott McGhee (1)[73]
NWA Florida Television Championship (3 times)[74]
NWA North American Tag Team Championship (Florida version) (1 time) – with Mike Graham[75]
NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship (Florida version) (2 times)[76]
NWA United States Tag Team Championship (Florida version) (3 times) – with Mike Rotunda[12]

Jim Crockett Promotions / World Championship Wrestling
NWA United States Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[5]
NWA United States Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Ron Garvin[10]
NWA Western States Heritage Championship (1 time)[7]
NWA World Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[3]
NWA World Tag Team Championship (Mid-Atlantic version) (1 time) - with Lex Luger[8]
WCW World Tag Team Championship (3 times) – with Dustin Rhodes (1), Curt Hennig (1), and Kendall Windham (1)[9]
WCW World Television Championship (1 time)[6]

    Music City Wrestling
NWA North American Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[77]

    NWA All-Star Wrestling (North Carolina)
NWA World Tag Team Championship (1 time) - with Tully Blanchard1[78]

    NWA New England
NWA New England Heavyweight Championship (1 time)[79]

    NWA Southern Championship Wrestling
NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship (Tennessee version) (2 times)[80]

    Pro Wrestling Illustrated
PWI Most Improved Wrestler of the Year (1982)
PWI ranked him #35 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the "PWI Years" in 2003[81]

    Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling
    BTCW Heavyweight Championship (2 times)

    World Wrestling Council
WWC World Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Kendall Windham[82]

    World Wrestling Federation[4]
WWF Tag Team Championship (2 times) – with Mike Rotunda[11]

    Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards
    Rookie of the Year (1980)
Match of the Year (1986) vs. Ric Flair on February 14
5 Star Match (1987) vs. Ric Flair at the Crockett Cup Tournament on April 11
5 Star Match (1991) with Ric Flair, Larry Zbyszko, & Sid Vicious vs. Brian Pillman, Sting, Rick Steiner, & Scott Steiner (February 24, WarGames match, WrestleWar)
5 Star Match (1992) with Nikita Koloff, Ricky Steamboat, Sting & Dustin Rhodes vs. Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, & Larry Zbyszko (May 17, WarGames Match, WrestleWar)

And here is a smashing video of him in action:

Windham should fit in nicely with the other guys on my roster and should give me some useful options.

    MNG roster thus far:

    1. Triple H
    2. Christian
    3. The New Age Outlaws - Road Dogg & Billy Gunn

    So,

Round 8. A pivotal moment in the draft really, all the big names are drying up, having to scout around for decent picks isn't quite as fun as firing off the big names at the start. The draft generally follows a certain formula, you have your Shawn Michaels and Stone Colds gone within the first few picks.

So by round eight, you really do have to think about your choices. Then I saw a picture of Matt Hardy at the TNA show and it hit me like a lightning bolt. I remembered... a conversation. I remembered late July.

My next pick is a man who could stand toe to toe with both Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold, in terms of both drawing power, and in-ring quality. In fact, Stone Cold is one of the guys that paid tribute to him, when he was inducted into the hall of fame.

His legend is so great, that I'm almost frightened to say his name, all I have to say is two simple words.

    "Knock, Knock."

    His hall of fame induction:

I received an email earlier in the week, it outlined that the majority shares of CMW had been purchased by a very interested individual.

Such that it has led to this person in coming back into the world of wrestling, something he previously stated he was finished with.

So without further ado, i present to you, the new chairman of CMW, effectively immediately:

    Shane McMahon.

    ShaneMcMahon.jpg
    From: SMcmahon@gmail.cn
    To: CMWmanagment@hotmail.com

    Greetings.
I, Shane McMahon would like to announce that i am now to be titled as the chairman of CMW promotions.
I am very happy and excited within my new role. I will bring this great brand right to the forefront of everyones minds when they think of wrestling, just like my father before me.

Just like my father, i also noticed this brands potential to be very dominant from very early on, so i felt i had to put my name on it.
I look forward to making a few of my own additions to the CMW roster, some which will shake everything up.

    CMW chairman,
    Shane McMahon

*Please read the following rules carefully...*

Round 8 has come to a very quick close and now it's time to commence Round 9. Myself and gimmick think this will really shake things up. This is perhaps the first draw where your ranking doesn't matter so much. The premise works like this - each participant will pick for the person below them. Yes you read that right.

Number 1 in the draw picks for the person in 2nd place and then the person in 2nd picks for the person in 3rd and so on. Then at the end of the round number 20 picks for number 1 and so we will have come full circle.

Note - It will be up to each person to decide how they wish to pick for someone. If you want to give the person below you a dud pick then that is entirely up to you! Will you be nice? Or will you be nasty? The choice is all yours. Be aware that the rules still apply so you can't do an illegal pick for someone (stating the obvious there but it needs to be said). The draw for this round works out as follows...

    1. campo
    2. Thebostoncrab
    3. Voltwad
    4. Ger.C
    5. Bubs102
    6. Spongey1975
    7. Cactus Colm
    8. Diabhal Beag
    9. waltersobchak
    10. Bounty Hunter
    11. CMPunked
    12. Dieselqueen
    13. flahavaj
    14. SlickRic
    15. Mr Nice Guy
    16. Teamshadowclan
    17. Furious-Red
    18. Dare 2 Defy
    19. JP Liz
    20. glenjamin

So then just to reiterate the rules - campo will start the round off but will NOT pick for himself he will be picking for Thebostoncrab. Then TBC will pick for Voltwad and so on. Finally when we get to number 20 - glenjamin - he will make the pick for campo and the circle will be complete, as will the round.

How this round goes depends on your neighbour's kindness. Your fate is in someone else's hands. Let the butt-kissing begin! Beware though because sometimes karma is a you know what...

Good luck and happy (or not so happy) pickings. ;)

'It is better to walk alone in the right direction than follow the herd walking in the wrong direction.'

Sorry, didn't think properly and confussed Jun with someone else that wrestled with ROH in the past, that's what happens when I do this from the office on a busy day!

Instead, I hope Volt still likes who I have picked for him, the prson who I had confussed with Akyiama for his time ROH. Another bad-ass heavyweight who put on some amazing matches over the past two-three years. And I still think he would tear it up with Lex!

Volt, I have for you, Kensuke Sasaki.

I had a few ideas for Ger's brand but given the lack of females on it, I've opted for a former women's champion, the one, the only Laycool. Including McTaker. Now your roster is flawless!

For bubs, I give him a man worthy of his fantastic roster. There isnt too many main eventers left to choose from, and their certainly isnt too many former World Champions left. With that being said, allow me to give bubs a great man. A man who was given the ball by WWE when others had dropped the ball, and he ran with it. He is an inspiration to us all

was going to throw a curveball at CMpunked but I dont like the idea of potentially completely changing someone elses plans. Therefore Ive gone with a more roster friendly , safe pick and one that I think could fit your roster, infact add the pick to your early Dashing/Dibiase pair and youve got a stable imo and since you have no women yet and they are starting to go and those chosen for you by someone else dont count towards the amt of tag teams allowed rule I thought id quote D2D from last year to let you know your pick is....
Angelina Love and Velvet Sky a.k.a The (Original) Beautiful People

    7e174b5488d3b0a6fd1f1bc349ee0f7a.jpg

I must say, I'm delighted that Sky and Love were still available and that I now get them. These 2 are what the TNA Knockout division is about. The original "Beautiful People" were such a great heel tag team which is something the D.W.O needs. The D.W.O better get a couple of brown paper bags and a few cans of hair-spray at the ready for when these 2 enter.

    Angelina Love:

    - Impact Wrestling Federation
    Manager of the Year (2000)[2]

    - Old School Pro Wrestling
    OSPW Women's Championship (1 time)

    - Pro Wrestling Illustrated
PWI ranked her #2 of the best 50 female singles wrestlers in the PWI Female Top 50 in 2009

    - Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
TNA Women's Knockout Championship (2 times)

    Velvet Sky:

    - Defiant Pro Wrestling
    DPW Women's Championship (1 time)

    - Georgia Wrestling Alliance
    GWA Ladies Championship (1 time)

    - Pro Wrestling Illustrated
PWI ranked her #23 of the best 50 female singles wrestlers in the PWI Female 50 in 2008 and 2009

    - TNT Pro Wrestling

My pick for DQ is a man who if i hadve gotten the chance to pick Lance Storm would have had to had this guy as my follow up pick.

He is a former ECW world Heavyweight Champ,
A two time ECW tag champ (with Storm) as a member of the impact players.

And a very impressive 8 time Hardcore champion.

If DQ teams him with Storm or decides to use him on his own, he is either way, a great addition to a roster.

    For Slick Ric:

I was going to pick a Japanese guy for Slick but wasn't sure if it would suit his wrestling taste. So I've come to a compromise of sorts and picked a Japanese guy who is very familiar to ECW and WWE fans of the last few years. A great little worker, a guy who has good comedy skills, a guy who'll fit very well with lots of other guys in a fast paced opener, or US/IC Title match. I also didn't really want to pick anyone that would necessarily interfere with his current roster and wouldn't pick anyone that I thought would fit a la Sarge Slaughter.

Hope you're happy enough with this Slick.

And seeing as how 5 team rule doesn't count you might as well take

Mikey Whipwreck as well. They were an amazingly innovative team in ECW.
