Here in London we've had a pretty gloomy start to 2011. We had a very brief glimmer of sun round about 10:00, but then it clouded over with a steady drizzle.

Today has been a bit better. A slightly longer glimmer of sun this morning. Pretty overcast now but dry. Temperature, 3 - 4 degrees. Light wind.

NRA station on N3 at Butlers Bridge reporting temps of -0.4°C. A few other minus temps around the country but this seems to be lowest at the moment.

1°C here at the moment.

Sandyford.... - no change at all; calm, dry, overcast 1C.

Like this all day; max temp never got above 2C. Or the min below 1C!

I tell a lie; been out to check and it appears to be 0C exactly (first time since 26th); still cloudy - no sign of any condensation or frost on cars/grass. Very dry despite no wind. All very peculiar.

cant see any snow on top from here. Nephin still has a few spots.
