My first temp for 2011 is 5.9°C. It's a damp night, perfectly quiet and not many people about. Not a star to be seen in a cloudy sky.

Sligo is around the 4c mark at the moment with stubborn cloud followed by short clear periods.

The lowest temperature we had in 2010 was -9.4c on the night of Dec 23/24. We didnt get this even in January 2010 (-7.8c)Of course this is only my back garden temp record.

I would say the official ones in Collooney and Charlestown (NRA) saw lower than this.

I now will be once again going into minusland from tomorrow night;)

Temp 4.8c finally a change to cooler weather is on the way. Guess its still cloudy out there as the temp is not dropping that fast. Should be an interesting week ahead.
