I'm not sure if any of you guys are into daily fantasy sports or not but there's a site called www.fanaments.com that has UFC fantasy sports.

You're able to create private games there so thought it could be fun if people wanted to get one going. I can create it and set the buyin amount.

For the record, I've absolutely zero affiliation with this site. Just something I came across from a fellow Boardsie and use it for golf, NBA and UFC.

Would there be any sites offering odds on Aldo pulling out and not making the fight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,848 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

plenty of bankers on this card but I see no point in adding fighters at odds of 1/12 or so
was toying with the idea of putting matthews with these two but I dont know enough about him, should win but odds of 1/6 are easy to resist.
I think I have a fair chance of landing both accums and I rarely think that, if rosholt can hold struve against the cage for three rounds
Not sure hall is a cert either, should be too good for whittaker but he's lost to inferior opponents before

went big on this one, can't see past either tbh
    villante
    hunt
    odds 1.83 (best with boyles)

    accum/ odds 5.3 (pp)
    villante
    hunt
    matthews
    hall
    sobbota

    accum/ odds 11.14 (pp)
    villante
    hunt
    matthews
hall (maybe worth a single at 8/11?)
sobbota (dont rate noke at all)
rosholt (if he can hold on to struve:)

    single daniel kelly 9/4
he can't be that much worse than montgomery surely?

wonder is daniel kelly value at 9/4 to beat montgomery?

I can't see why montgomery is only 2/5 myself, wouldnt have thought there wouldnt be much between the two and montgomery was outclassed last time out as was monty
fighting with the home crowd behind him I think kelly will keep coming at monty until he breaks him
monty may be the better fighter but pressure might tell late on (hopefully)

he's value alright, last two mins of round three won it for kelly :D

Not too big, I think there are bigger outs out there even.

I went daft. Holly and Valerie double. Holly to finish by KO and Valerie to finish is 220/1. I couldn't help myself. If they were to win, that's how I think it would happen so why not

Damn only put a tiny amount on Holm because I was told I was an idiot on this forum oh well her gym the calibre of her coaches and her superior striking turned out to be the key after all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 336 ✭✭Petermc83

Rosa is 6/4 to beat Paige with PP... think ill be taking some of that!!!!

The Holly Holm v Ronda Rousey odds are very attractive.

    Holm 8/1 Ladbrokes

I don't understand why she is so underrated. The best striker in that division if not all the divisions, incredibly strong, hard to get on the ground. Great cardio capacity. Ronda will be tested like never before.

firstly well done for calling it, only seen it now myself after going through your posts
bet nobody has said that to you either...
    That's cute.

You could take Joe Rogans spot with a line like that :)

He must get sick of having to say that shít knowing it's utter bollix

Aldo to win is currently 6/4. What are the chances these odds get even longer? I already have a substantial bet booked in at 6/4, just wondering should I save up to throw more on it closer to the night?

I'm no expert, but provided nothing goes wrong with McGregor in the buildup to the fight I'd expect Aldo's odds to drift even more with the bandwagon money being lumped on McGregor on the 10th/11th/12th.

    agree with weemcd
think it's quite possible he'll drift out to as big as 7/4

I'll probably back him myself at those kinda odds

wee treble for bellator later...ricci up first in an hour
hoping to make a few quid for tomorrows card

ricci probably wins this handy if he manages to keep it standing and will imo be back in the ufc before long, probably didnt deserve to be cut
viana because he's fighting houston alexander who has three wins in the past four years...two against aul fellas and the other against a guy who's now on an 8 fight lose streak, viana surely can't be that bad
mamedov because he has to be good with a name like that

Does anyone think that Aldo will go off @3.0? I'm really hoping he does so I can get a decent bet on but I'm wondering if this is the best price we'll see him at.

I'm of the opinion that closer the time the Irish will back Conor in more.

That's what should happen but on the flip side alot of punters will take the higher Aldo price.

Yeah that's the thing really. I'm watching the price and waiting for a shift to get some good money on but don't want to miss a good price (as it is now). I just think it can get better.

I think the bookies have this all wrong anyway and hoping some impressionable people will sway it more

For the small amount of Irish betting on Conor there will be equally the amount and more americans/brazilians etc betting on Aldo cos they hate Conor. Id be surprised to see him starting @3 the weekend of the fight. A load of bets will come in the few days in advance.

The Irish aren't going to be betting enough on this one to move the market imo. Sure paddy power is probably getting flooded with bets on Conor but the American bookies, vegas sportbooks, etc aren't going to take much Irish money at all. Relatively speaking.

I can see a few pro sportsbettors smashing Aldo's price during fight week

Question so on that note; What do you think is a good price (better than now I mean) to take a bet?

For the sake of argument, let's all assume we think Aldo will win.
