    Do you find grazed grass than silage at this stage of the year? Debating letting off some weanlings, have nice covers of grass but worried that maybe good silage may be better than wet grass. They will be getting 5lb of meal of out

    All heifers are getting good hay ad lib on grass, and they are doing well.

    OK here so far and I'm about 12 +/- miles as the crow flies from O'Connell St.
    I presume you mean the real big smoke, not some imposter down South :D

    Blowing an absolute gale - the wind has kept me awake most of the night, just hope the last old shed roof survives. btw supposed to be major wind event / storm coming in this weekend. Met Eireann have some advisories out ...

    Nothing like that forecast for here. No worse than this morning anyway which was just a bog standard sh1tty winters morning. Plenty of rain forecast though. Any of the lads who fractured a few regs in the past few weeks will be shown to have been right. Conditions perfect over the past month around here but as soon as the closed season is coming to an end the wheels come off the wagon.

    Yeah tonight's to be tasty I believe. Dublin Airport was shut down for a while last night aswell due to the winds
