Think we will be ok in Waterford city temp now -2.3 DP -3.3

    More Detail @ www.waterfordcityweather.com

Snow would be less dangerous than freezing rain at this stage.

Starting to snow here in Skerries.

Ground conditions are fine though as we have been covered by the IOM shadow for most of the week and we are always a couple of degrees warmer than inland anyway, so there is almost always a thaw.

don't expect too much folks there is a vast contrast between this front and the east streamers we had. an hour of this would be equal to 3-5 minutes of the streamers

    Heavy snow falling in Offaly.
I am supposed to be on the way to Dublin Airport for 5 pm flight.
    Decided not to chance it.
Anyone out there think the airport will close again soon?
Otherwise it will cost me €35 each way to re-schedule!!! Hard times!!!!

no, i think i'd be happy with it up to my bedroom window! :)

anything deep enough that i can jump out of an upstairs window into it without breaking anything is fine by me! :D

maybe i should put poles up so i know where the garden furniture & bbq are, or that could be a nasty surprise!
