    Feck it, for another 70 I can just buy a Turbo Duo and play them from that, as well as all the CD based games, will just build up fundage for that instead.
    Thing about the auction is, those convertors are, apparently, very rare, not just ebay rare but really hard to find, and this guy has 6 of them!

    What the frak is this and is it relevant today if you don't own such a monitor, like could the output be co-opted into something else and what would the quality be?

    Not really I'd say.

    And for the amount of effort involved you'd be better off just cutting one end off an RCA cable and soldering your own custom cable.

    Hmm, Pantrylad is awful quiet.

    And Adultappleflavouredbeveragemale and Stefan Emmanuelle Ulysses SI are posting Darius and PC Engine stuffs in either a bid to a) throw me off the scent, b) butter me up in some odd way or c) all of the above.

    I think you three are in league with each other and one of you has bought it, or, to refer once again to the great Martin Prince, you all clubbed together to buy the game so the last one of you alive would have the honour of being buried with it.

    I was staying offline for fear I'd end up buying it as I just can't pass up a good deal. Thing is, even if it is a good deal, it's 70 odd euro I don't have to spend on games at the moment!

    Ah well, someone got a reasonable bargain there. I'm semi-glad I didn't get it either having an XBOX to glitch next week and buying Under Defeat HD (limited edition version with CD, Superplay and Poster) today amongst other things like booking hotels and stuff in Japan.

    That said, I am gutted. What a game Garegga is. What. A. Game.

    I can't remember if I have this game or not. I do have Super Darius, not Super Darius II though. Darius Plus, I'll have to check. It's one for the collection though for sure but I'm not fussed about a sealed copy, I'll never own Darius Alpha and I'm a bit late to enter the raffle! :)

    Nope. Japan only. Are you telling me you never read my interview with G.Rev!? :eek:

    Check the SHMUP PORN thread for a super long gameplay video of it.

    It's a physical release. I've got the super duper limited edition one on the way to me which comes with the soundtrack CD and a superplay DVD. It also comes with a poster which is super limited quantities as it was handed out by G.Rev for pre-orders! :D

    A copy of Megaman 2 on the gameboy up on eBay. New and sealed budding jumped from €0.99 to €2440 inside a couple of hours. And here was me hoping to get it to get it.

    If there was a high resolution scan of the blue label inlay then you could really rip someone off. As all you'd have to do is print it out. The cart label is exactly the same.

    You'll never find a high res picture of that game. I've tried, but am pretty sure one doesnt exist online anymore.

    I did see one a couple of years ago but the owner then took it down very quickly. Someone probably warned him that it would make it really easy to duplicate and devalue his game.
