    Channel4 news just announced Cowen's address is 'imminent'. Still nothing on the govt owned RTE (see no evil). If we killed him and Harney couldn't we sell the meat for a fair bit of money?

    In some ways yes, but it's important to remember that we are where we are, no amount of getting upset will change it.
    At some point we are going to have to get out heads out of our collective arses and start enjoying life again. This is, without a doubt the most downbeat i have ever seen this country. I hope the IMF bailout brings finality to this situation and we can go back to being the plucky little underdog country that we all grew up in. Say what you want about Ireland and all it's faults, but i wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

    He should go on TV, apologise for lying and selling Ireland and resign.
