It's not Sony's fault if people are having a shít time online. Treyarch never Beta tested the online. But if my connection can hold so can everybody else's but by the sounds of you, you haven't a clue what your doing at all. Blaming Sony for the online... Stupid. ha ha what are you on about ! you'd swear this is an isolated incident one of the catagory mods( kinda seems like someone who might have a clue what there on about) has a thread started about the freezing issues on the ps3 versions of the game . never mind numerous other threads about everything from lag frame rate dropping online and audio/video problems offline. there is a major difference at the moment between the ps3 version of the game and the xbox version simply because microsoft has put money into ensuring a certain quality from the game from day one and sony hasn't. yes treyarch should be working on all consoles(pc and wii included i suppose;)) and yes microsoft should be encouraging this equalism but at the end of the day when there charging 40 -50 euro on average per player per year then you have to show results for this money and the results are proper beta testing , pathces , DLC and console exclusives

PS3 online is superiorly inferior to XBL. But it's not Sony's fault about Black Ops. You don't beta test your sending out something raw. That's why they are rushing out patches trying to fix the issues. I don't seem to be getting any of these issues though.

Treyarch were always going to fail tho.

I have a gaystation and as much I love it this game is sucking at the mo coz the frame rate and lag is really killing it..

But I'm sure I'm wrong rite.. must be all my fault!!

Lads, lets move on from the pointless PS3 v XBox argument.

Back on topic, I've heard reports from guys playing currently that:

Footsteps are a bit easier to hear, but I think they made it so you need NinjaPro in order to really hear them like in MW2. I played some FFA this morning and I got into a match quick, no waiting time at all for the first time lol.

I connected to 3-4 different games TDM/FFA almost instantly like MW2.

Also for the first time EVER, I was in 2 rooms both FFA where everyone was 4 bar connection. Also TDM, everyone but me and some other dude 4 bar.

All sounds very promising. Hopefully they've fixed the Party system as well. This guy was just playing solo, so no definite word on that yet...

even faster if you have the 'n' adaptors for the xbox.

There has been the same stuttering/frame rates for the pc aswell.Just lazy coding/testing by treyarch.Dev'd for the xbox and ported to the pc/ps3.

There was a patch for pc and it improved the fps slightly(enough to play it without getting killed by lags)

I think that just solidifies my point, the fact that blackops runs better on a 5 year old console(xbox) than it does on systems that are probably 3 or 4 times more powerful. Really has nothing to do with how the PS3 is in general but how poorly they ported the game. Post release jitters is all.
