    8.75km in 47.47 (5.28 pace)

Easy run home from work, had to keep slowing down again today to stop from creeping up to PMP. Did a few strides on the way for the crack. Today's niggle: sore left knee

    kmtd: 261.18

    Aren't you a nice guy?

Here is the opening post on my log, dated 24 - 11 - 2010
DCM 2011, Plan?....Start Slow, then Taper Off
I only started running in April 2010, so this year has been about growing the distance, getting a lot of miles into the legs and completing DCM without dying. Now I'm ready to move up a level or two, so from Monday next I'll be following Hal Higdon's 5k advanced schedule, then his 10k followed closely by the half marathon and finally the advanced marathon training plan.

    Current times:
    1. Dunshaughlin 10k - 54:07
    2. Adidas Half Marathon - 153:19
    3. Adidas Marathon - 4:15

    Goals for 2011:
    1. Sub 20 min 5k
    2. Sub 45 min 10k
    3. Sub 1:40 Half
    4. Sub 3:50 Marathon

    Let the games begin.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Well i'm on the right, the brother needs the stick to beat home the sub 4 hr people:D

On a serious note, Ray don't leave the sub 3 30 lads until mile 18 at least, run within yourself as long as you can and use all those people as a windbreaker. And that goes for Mr Slow.

I went with them last year on a nice day (cracked rib too) but its around Clonskeagh the race really begins. Don't be foolish and go too early, its a long way out on a wet and possibly windy day.
