Dublin date confirmed for WWE Revenge tour

WWE presents Wrestlemania Revenge at the O2 15th April 2011.

For your chance to buy priority tickets text WWE to 51020 (think this may be o2 customers only though)

Think I might splash out on a ringside ticket and pass it off as a christmas present to my little brother.

    About a minute. less even.
as soon as the clock hits 9, you press that buy tickets button and pray.

Don't think I'll be going myself.

Ringside tickets are hit and miss. If you mean ringside, as in around the general ring area, then you'd have a decent chance, especially with the priority o2 tickets. If by ringside you mean the very front row, then you're better off waiting for the tickets to go on sale normally, and praying for the best.

Have reasonable expectations though. There are about, what, 60 front row seats? There's gonna be thousands of people online buying tickets. The odds will always be slim.

DAMN! I have to go! Sheamus, Melina and triple h???? IM THERE!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

I'll probably buy two of the cheap seats for me and the missus.

Take the current line-up with a pinch of salt though, around WM season is when the brand gets mixed up the most.

    See you guys there!

I have a presale code but I have a doctors appointment at 9am on Thursday so I will miss the start of the presale. Could make getting ringside tickets tricky.

Probably not, getting ringside usually doesn't happen with the presales.

    what ya mean?

are you more likely to get a ringside seat on the friday??

I always get ringside on the pre sales. Got front row last time.

    I should say first that i havent bothered going to a wwe event in about a year and a half or so, the procedure may of changed. But;

Before when a presale was on you can be ready and waiting with the code and click buy now, and get a seat in the center, about a third way up the tiered seating, click retry and get closer, but more to one side.
Maybe you could get in the ringside section, but not a ringside seat.

Its not just a case of the tickets getting sold as if it was a normal sale, First 100 get front row etc.
They are usually dotted around the place quite randomly.

    I stand corrected so. :o

But a few times i disregarded the presales as they werent giving me ringside seats, and then on the day of general sale got great ringsides.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,270 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Whats the situation with the pre-sale? Do you have to be a member or sign up to something to buy in the pre-sale?

I'd like to to take my two little brothers to see this but I don't know if it would be worth it if we were in the nose-bleeds or way in back.
Anyone know how to get the best tickets or is it just luck on the morning?
    Thanks :).

Yeah I think you have to be an o2 customer, then you get pre-sale passwords sent to you by text.

I'll be buying tickets at 9.00am tomorrow anyway! Then booking a night in the clarion!

Can someone tell me other than front row, what are the best seats?? :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,054 ✭✭✭D.Q

That O2 presale thing is a load of cock. I havent been offered one decent seat yet. Terrible.

Yeah, as if they'll listen ¬_¬

Anyway, just saw the ad in the paper. Although there's no indication of brand, the fact it's five Raw guys should mean it's Raw. Still, I'd go regardless tbh :P Wish they'd give more heads up with paper ads though. Hope my credit card goes through. And who dares force me to get up at 9 on a bloody Saturday >_<

Best available for me came up as Block F on the tiered seating. 75 Euro. I passed. I'm not on O2 either and I got it on the PAST PURCHASER PRESALE.

As do I friend. I've gotten ringside anytime ive gone. Never front row though. Thats the goal.

I had a doctors appointment at 9am this morning so I couldn't go online to check then and I completely forgot about it until there now. Sounds like I will need to be up bright and early on Saturday morning :)

Im referring back to my previous post on this one.
o2 will put out like 4 ringside tickets and little batches of each other groups of tickets.
Someone got ringside, they are obviously not on here, but they havent put out all the ringsides this morning.

haha, good call on that! Ya see the last time, during the presale, I went straight on, and got ringside row c. No bother. And iirc, a few people on here did too.

this time though, I went on, it took 6 minutes searching..The best I could get was the tiered seating. Very annoying altogether.

    thats also my goal :D

would be cool to get front row would be nice just to sit down and not have to get up every 2 mins and would also be nice not to have someone sit right infront of me blocking my view

Been in second row last twice. Worried that there's no way I'll be that lucky three times on the trot :/

I managed to get ringside E row B for the show, i didn't do too bad considering what some of you were offered, although I did have to try a few times before these came up.

Was online this morning at 9:00 for the yolk, RING E row C i got so I was happy :D

So when you go on to the site Saturday is it just a lottery for the best seats?
I'll be getting 3 tickets (or hoping to at least) so is it a bit wishful for me to think that I could get them near the front? Never been to a wrestling event so I'm not used to this :o.

Welcome to the crazy world of live wrestling, step one of the enjoyment: the rat race which is; buying your tickets.

Now, you are fortunate, these aren't the days when tickets would go on sale and they would be conepletely sold out in about 10 minutes for the point.
But that doesn't mean dilly-dallying either.

My tip would be as such-
Be online dead on 9 tomorrow(or a little before, just make sure your on). As soon as it hits 9, hit buy now.
If you get anywhere in the first 5 rows (which is, very possible) take them!
Sometimes when people get further back tickets, they give them up and look for better ones, but anyone that's that close isn't going to.

For 3 tickets you should be grand. :)
    Enjoy the rush!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,788 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

    Agreed with CM ^

You make sure you're online at about 5 to 9 and just keep refreshing the page until you get the option to buy, and then take what you get. You'll never get better seats at that time anyway. You just have to hope you're the quickest person in the country to hit "buy" at 9.

Hope Ticketmaster doesn't mess me round this time like they did with my Jedwar.....I mean Iron Madien tickets I was buying two weeks ago...

    <_<'''

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

Didn't know iron maiden were playing the TLT? ;)

At least in these days people use te Internet more.
I remember one year queing with kkv from 3 in the morning to get tickets.
Slept in a taxi, watched terminator 3, great times. :D
