    It's not a lack of confidence, or a cry for attention, just a bit of fun. I have enough confidence thanks, I've asked for and got her number, and she said to text her when I'm next in town at the weekend.

    Btw, read "The Rebel Who Would Be King" by Philippe Auclair, it's terrific.

    Yes, but as a rule of thumb, anybody who is talking up their relationships with women on the internet generally do it because of the lack of female attention they get IRL.


    I did read that book.

    BTW don't get me wrong I'm not having a go at you. If I told a girl to hold up a sign for an Internet forum I'm sure I'd be told where to go, maybe the women in Cork are all for that sort of $hit.
