Im with you and will be having a go on them. Mayo consistently come up short year after year with some players noticeably less involved than in prior years.

Mayo have struggled all year against teams of far less skill and against when compared with cork. They can usually rely on Castlebar to squeeze a result but the fact they're playing away is also in Cork's favour.

Keep the free count to a a moderately low level and Cork have a real chance in my eyes.

Mayo beat Clare comfortably in Ennis and I'd rate Clare higher than Cork at the moment.

Does anyone think Cork can beat Mayo this Sat?
Mayo full-back is not right this year.
Midfield is unsettled, Seamus o Shea playing 40-50 mins per game.
Cork are more familiar with Limerick pitch.
Talk of unrest in Mayo camp.
Cork traditionally beat Mayo, and will feel no pressure going into this.
Are they worth a punt at 9/2?
    Thanks

    Any details on this unrest?

Apparently Aidan didnt sleep well the other night and was tweeting about it. Bernard Flynn said he was a waster and should have been thinking of the team and sleeping like everyone else. Joe Brolly then said Aidan was a grand lad and that he was great for GAA, blamed Pat Spillane for letting Aidan watch Nightmare on Elm Street before bed.

And why haven't Mayo fans launched a social media campaign?

Don't be talking ****e, thats the first ive heard of it and Cork traditionally beating Mayo is utterly irrelevant. Look to the most recent fixture if you must

Mayo should win but wouldn't be surprised if Cork put it up to them. I'll have a small wager on Cork for interest

    Jennings Recommendations:

    Galway
    3pts 13-8 general

    Galway -4
    1pt 6-1 Paddy Power

    Cork to lead at half-time
    1pt 10-3 Coral, Ladbrokes

I'd actually agree somewhat with Jennings. Galway are a nice price. Although I won't be touching it myself.

He's also on Over 4.5 goals in the Hurling @ 15/8

Pundit Arena went with the Cork bet as well for half time, but I don't know what their tipster is like?
Under the points total for me is my only bet tomorrow on that game.

Jennings bets are the complete opposite to what I was thinking 😂

    Wouldn't touch Galway. Fancy Donegal.

Think Mayo are just gaining momentum. AOS coming into form. Expect them to win.

Was going to back Wexford no goal. 12/5. Waterford sweeper system might be enough to keep them out.

Jamie Barron 25/1 hurler of the year. Another good game on Sunday and a waterford win will see those odds drop dramatically

Going with Tipp -6 and Mayo -5, reckon the Tipp and Mayo teams will score well hopefully.

  • Registered Users Posts: 96 ✭✭grebtol2

Tipp 2.5 goals @ 2.62 is a decent price. Hard to know how Clare will hold up on a few fronts, not just with the changes they've made. Tipp are a confidence team and smashed the Dubs the last day, their touch is in. Tipp will typically score 2 per game. Last 3 games last year had at least 2, 6 v Dubs, might had have a few Vs Cork the last day.

Anyone know what Waterford -4.5 hit on Betfair?

Another massive bet on Waterford down the drain when I could have laid off.
