    Tried Day 1 of a on the minute cycle today...totally not gonna work for me. Id only have 1 min between sets, including the time to change the plates which would mean that I'd have no time to talk:pac::pac: was grand for today but def wont suit going forward

    Starting to come down with a headcold...so of course I decide to go train.#stupid

    Head was throbbing and with no real structure today was a waste

    Astanga- 1hour

    Thought I was feeling much better. Went to yoga..turns out I was uber tight compared to normal.

    I can usually put my head to my legs but was getting nowhere near. Had to opt out of inversions and shoulder stands and they didnt feel good.

    Thursday 24th of September

    Still feeling completely flat. It's so hard to find the energy to deal with a classful of kids when you arent 100%.

    Decided I wasnt training. Went home, went to bed then changed my mind 2 hours later:pac::pac:

    Kinda happy.. I love roadtrips. Going for a higher volume/ lower intensity approach to training for the next little so at least I'll be well rested for the comp

    Yoga teacher is gone off travelling for the next few months...such as pity as it was the first time that I actually regularly attended class :/ New instructor is grand...but I'd say it'll take a lot of motivation to keep it part of the weekly schedule :/

    Lolz...since posting I actually realised that I was doing snatch pulls from the floor with a shrug at the top!!! Rather than just doing 8 shrugs :pac::pac::pac: no wonder they were bloody hard I did an extra 7 pulls from the floor:pac:

    Saturday 17th of October- Cork Open

    Was up at 6.15 this morning for the drive down. Felt great. Plan for today was to open heavier than before and didnt matter if I bombed

    Made a silly mistake with the first 48kg, just came off the bar too soon. Next 48kg was piss. Deelighted with myself for being confident enough to open at 46kg

    Messed around with the bar on the platform for over 30sec on the first 64kg..just couldnt get the bar set up right it kept going lobsided. Shouldnt have kept on messing as I ended up clarking this attempt. Shoulda really got the second 64kg but Id already given up before the attempt..:o:o totes embarressing as 64kg should be a piece of piss for me!!

    Happy I did what I'd set out to do..up my openers but disappointed with the cleans as they were just stupid.

    I've a competition in Germany in 8 weeks...so just need to stop being crazy:pac::pac:

    Snatches looked so easy. Pity about the C&J but you know you can do them much better than that, just didn't happen today. Sounds liked you enjoyed yourself :)

    Yeh Am chuffed with the snatches they looked faster than usual...and the cleans...:pac::pac::pac: all i can do is laugh. Was a last minute decision to do the comp so not fussed at all
