    After big comps..ya but its more of a few days off formal training. So this week I'll mess around a bit and do whatever I want and then next week training for National Club Championship starts.

    Hot Ashtanga Yoga- 1hour


    Extremely enjoyable and calming.
    Started with a 10min meditation then 40min fast paced yoga followed by 10min relaxation...Bliss!!

    Thursday 6th of August-Leinster Lifting League

    Twas a very late start cos one of the other team were late. Started warming up at 7pm but matches didnt start til 8.30

    Pretty happy with the snatches. I jump from 44-47 regularly in training but I've mucked up that jump in the last two comps. Wasn't too fussed bou missing the 49kg

    Overhead position felt solid today

    :/:/ 63kg felt good just wasnt solid on the lockout and the bar fell

    Happy enough! Won my match. It pays to be a light lifter...and female:pac::pac: all the bonus points

    Lolz...my legs feel like I took 10 attempts:o:o Ya I'd thought so too about the next comp being in October but Capital Strength advertised one during the week!

    Saturday 22nd of August
    Ended up deciding yesterday not to make weight after I saw the start list. Was only 7 girls competing so there was no point and REALLY wanted it to be a stress free competition.

    Ended up going really well..felt ridiculously relaxed, coached myself and had plenty of time as I was the 2nd last lifter. Was helping a beginner to time her warmups too so that was a fantastic distraction.

    Snatches
    44/46/48 :) Extremely happy! Played it safe and went for small jumps. +1kg Comp PB

    Clean and Jerks

    Was tired going into these but legs felt great
    60/63x/63 Comp PB +1kg

    Pressed out the first 63kg! Ended up with a comp total PB of 111kg @53.5kg BW

    Went back to RWC after and finished my prog for the day
