How come in a film whenever there is a sex scene and you can tell that both actors are nude (knickers etc lying all over the floor),however when they get out of bed the next morning they are always wearing their underwear again:confused:

I don't get people who judge people for liking pop music. I don't like it because everyone else likes it, I just like it. Do you think we are all eejits who can't think for ourselves?

I also don't get people who say interwebz? And people who "shorten" words when typing even though it's the same length?? Like "taht" or "teh"?? It makes no sense!!!

Why people find Craig Doyle attractive/funny/entertaining. He is none of these.

    Family guy. It's not funny.

Why stories are apparently more important to RTE if they happen in Dublin than if they happened anywhere else in the country.

Why Grainne Seoige gets more work than Sile?

And why are headlice not extinct by now??!

i don't get why you personally attack craig doyle, i dont have an opinion on him one way or another, but come on, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, how would you like if people decided, not actually knowing you, that you weren't funny/attractive/entertaining?

The word (or non-word) lol. Also, rofl, lmao and things along these lines. I'm pretty sure you are NOT in fact Rolling On the Floor Laughing or you wouldn't be typing now, would you? These are most annoying in sentences like "Be there in a minute lol", "Okay lol", etc, etc. I SAID NOTHING FUNNY!! SHUT UP!!

    LOL

I don't get people who spend a fortune building a big fcuk off mc mansion in the country and build a big fcuk off industrial unit/cattle shed alongside it.

Also I don't get those conveyor belt toasters in some hotels at breakfast they cost about 600 euros and are worse than an Argos 4 slice toaster for a fiver.

I just don't get how people can be happy living in a rented house paid for by the Government, happily living on the dole and considering their life "set" because they now have a driving license and a couple of quid for a few cans on the weekend.

    Sickening culture really.

People who 'connect' with animals. I'd never hurt one or anything, because they can still feel pain. But I don't get why people keep them as pets.

Why people buy Apple products. I kinda get it because they look nice, but even then I don't think that justifies the price premium.

they are over priced but they are worth it(!) They save a lot of hassle and are very easy to use

I don't get why Irish people travel to South Africa and build houses for the poor blacks? What's that all about? It's a bit condescending and I bet it does more harm than good?

True but they're Irish people. Bet they won't build any roads, shops, schools, or infrastructure for those new houses :D

    Organized Religion.

Its patently a hangover from a bygone age. Humanity's first attempt to explain its own existence which was then hijacked by powerful men as they saw that they could effectively keep people in line and get them to do their bidding as long as they slavishly followed "the word of god" (which is man-made of course)

I imagine (and hope) that in a couple of thousand years people will be talking about Christian and Islamic mythology, and the catastrophic affects it had on civilisation.

Tattoos. Do people really understand what "permanent" means? You have no idea where you'll be or what you'll be thinking in 20, 30, 40 years time. Nothing is permanent. Don't get me started on the "tramp stamp", a tattoo on a woman's lower back: just what are you trying to say with that?

A special word of improbation for those who get tattoos in foreign languages, especially Chinese or Japanese. I've spoken to native speakers of those languages, which confirmed my suspicions: they laugh at such tattoos much as we laugh at Engrish. :pac: See also: Hanzi Smatter.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

I don't get why our cinemas show the exact same movies as each other. Surely it would mean more business if they showed new movies that weren't screened in other cinemas?

Probably not, there's a limited market for anything but the 10 or so movies that have a gigantic marketing budget. It's pretty sad really. At least there's a couple of places that show different stuff like the IFI.

Be great if someone set up a cinema just for classic movies.

You know those little things you can't understand why people do them.

For me its buying expensive arse-paper, i just don't see why people pay extra money for something the plan to wipe **** all over. Don't get me wrong i'd say they are nice and soft to wipe the balloon knot with but wtf.

    do share.

I saw ''limited edition'' design toilet paper in the shop the other day - WTF?
