84mm of rain so far for July now.

Continues the 5 or 6 year pattern of over 100mm in July with thundery showers and low pressure conditions.

Barring a strong improvement Im going to get at least 150mm

Other things Ive noted in Julys in Sligo recently as compared to Met Eireanns 61-90 year average

    1. Nights are a lot milder
    2. Sunshine hours are less
    3. Pressure is falling on average
    4. A certain pattern of weather dominates (this being wet in recent years)
    5. Daytime temperatures are on the rise but slower than nighttime possibly due to the Low pressure
    6. I spend a lot of money in this month compared to 1961-1990!:D

Weather report South east of Limerick City. Despite seeing spectacular clouds bearby we did not get much rain so far. Did not hear any thunder. We got some sunshine and it was feeling pretty warm at times. Will the low moving eastwards drag these huge thuder clouds into our area later on this evening?

Roasting here, it is around 5:20pm and around 32C (feels like 38C). Very humid, opened the back door and was nearly knocked out by the heat coming in! :)

Impressive total Paul! A modest 79.2mm here in comparison, but now above the 61-90 monthly average. Only the 2nd month this year to achieve such.
