Played it finally for a few hours!
Pretty impressed with the new features. Makes the game that bit more real which is always a plus! I got kinda bored of FM10 due to Fifa (And reading these new feature on 11) but glad to say this has enough to bring me back into it big time. Cant wait to get the full version!

p.s Forgot how horrible it is to play without the logos/player pictures.

Have demo downloaded and any time i try to play it i got a message saying"The Game is currently unavailable, please try again at another time"

Anybody any ideas on this?

Hmmm. I was thinking about downloading the demo but given that the Irish teams are unavailable in the demo and downloading it would eat up a sizeable amount of my download allowance i might just wait til the game is release.

I have my hands full with fallout new vegas right now anyway.

Anyone know how to stop your team getting complacement against teams of a lower repuatation? It keeps coming up in the backroom advice but I'm not sure what to do

I've got a couple of youngsters on FM10 that I want to see how far they get so it'll be a Christmas before I properly get into FM11.

I have and I havent played the demo properly because of the limitations of the quick starts.

Delighted with the following:

Dynamic League Reputation
Training System much improved
Transfer System much more realistic
Player interaction done better
Board interaction improved

Hopefully the full game can handle lots of leagues and long career games and not become a mess

Took Sheffield Wednesday to the top on League 1, no great achievement you say.

There are some good free agents for League level.

Nile Ranger from Newcastle bangs in the goals!
Darius Vassell is ok, Aliadiere, ex Arsenel player is good also

Jay DeMerit, ex Watford brilliant, made him my captain. One of the best players in the league

When you pre order FM11 on steam they give you 20 old sega megadrive games free.

Golden Axe, the memories flooded back when I played it

That's what I love about this game, the fact that they can pull at your heart strings!

I don't play with wide players, I like my 4 1 2 1 2 so I was getting rid of a few of the players and it didn't go down well at all.

only played a few hours with the demo as Im not wasting my time. Just fine tuned the settings and new features so I can jump straight on in when its out.

Im not new to the game, been a fan for many years but i am new to the patches and have never used them before- can someone tell me how you use them/ how does it work etc? is it fairly straightforward- you can pm me if you want

Simply download the patch and double click on the .exe and it will do the rest. As far as I know FM 2011 is steam only so it will do all the patching for you automatically.

Btw, has anyone experienced the demo just randomly crashing? In the past 2 hours it has happened twice and no save as its random as hell.
