Sample raw footage from my first #3... it seems quite washed out, no?

Second #3, colours are stronger but a bit weird and oversaturated.

Both shot using Transcend Class 6 4GB microSD.

Got two more #3s on the way, this time from 2009happyseller, we'll see how they differ to the buyincoins ones!

Yeh, that's really washed out, shouldn't be like that at all. This is what I was saying that "#3" means nothing these days. Seems to be more and more bad copies of these coming onto the market.

    What do people mean #3?

There are a number of different versions. #3 is generally perceived to be the best. 720x480 w/ yellow timestamp is its identifier.

So, two months after the OP, how many other people's cameras are gathering dust?

Used a couple of them in France and caught a crash. Time wasn't set-up properly on one but got all the action.

    2 key-fob cameras I ordered on July 27 arrived yesterday :D
Both are #3, yellow time stamp etc. Got them from 365digital. They cost €6.50 each incl. delivery.
Both are working great and I downloaded a webcam driver so I can also record when the camera is plugged into my laptop

I bought two from buyincoins, just got them yesterday, both #3s...one works fine but the other doesn't seem to sustain any battery power, it runs out of juice (whether one or off) within 30mins of disconnecting it from the USB port. Anyone else get one like this? Obviously it's too much hassle to go after them for a replacement.

ive had some unusual battery problems alright paul. very tempermental all of a sudden, but I've a feeling its down to the mem card I'm using now. Gonna play around with a few diff cards and see if I can sort it.

no problem, here is the link.
    Alternatively, It's actually on http://www.chucklohr.com/808/
Scroll down the page to the links section, then under Drivers heading, click on the link for "SunPlus webcam driver for the #3 and #6 camera - Link to the driver at alan-electronics.de"

Install the software. Open the program. When your camera is attached, turned on and recognised by your PC (mass storage mode), then press the power button once (this turns it into webcam mode). Then under one of the drop-down menus you have to enable it, then click on preview under another menu, and the live video feed should appear on the screen. Then to record, there is another drop-down menu, that says capture video. Sorry the instructions are a bit vague, I'm on my work laptop and the program is installed on my other laptop.

I bought this mainly to put on my helmet whole mountain biking or on my motorbike. What would be the best way to secure it without resorting yards of duct tape?
