. Someone will sort him out for you

While your sentiments might be the right place, I really don't think its the answer. My wife and daughter were viciously verbally assaulted once, guards eventually, after much chasing, did their job.

Yep.. it certainly says a lot when you have to chase someone to try and get them to do their job, especially when its something as fundamentally important as the safety of a kid on the streets of the town they're tasked with policing.

Well if you leave it 4 years and 8 months between posts is it any wonder?

Does that mobility scooter ever move from outside betfair at the old bridge? It is there every day I drive by.

Sometimes it's outside Boyles in the square.

Apologies it's Boyles Sports at the bridge also, not betfair.

The Castle is a great asset often overlooked by the people of the town.

Bloody scandal. Gutted the place and put anything of interest out of sight in the basement of Johnstown Castle, and God knows where else.

What's it even supposed to be, definitely not a museum,****ing Brooklyn.
I'd be raging if I spent a fiver to get in.

I remember The Castle before it was refurbished. It was a mad collection of knicknacks, uncatalogued with indecipherable hand written tags. It was like your grandfathers garden shed. In it's new state it is a modern tourist attraction and local amenity. It is providing people with what they want, as proven by its success.

Unusual piece of street furniture on the corner of Market Square and Rafter St. Is it for leaning on, drinking pints during festivals or eating kebabs. Anyone?

What is the purpose of tracking a mobility scooter?

Well it's hard to not see it on my way home from work at lunchtime or in the evening, especially when your stopped at the pedestrian crossing there.

But why post it on Boards. If it was a bicycle would you post it? I don't see the point. It's just somebody's means of transport!

A bloke with a disability who spends most of the day in the bookies.

Pretty normal, there are loads of blokes who spend all day every day in the bookies or outside smoking and chatting. My own Uncle hangs out down their quiet often, just pottering away with the odd bet and chat.

I know who owns it and if you had the same condition he had, you'd do whatever you got a bit of enjoyment out of as much as you could too.
There's plenty other able bodied lads who spend their lives in the bookies.

A very inoffensive man he is at that. id say he spends most of his time there for the chat and company as for him gambling id say its a few 50 cent or €1 yankees or trebles he places.

Jez... obviously you're not from Enniscorthy and have no clue that these are people we grew up with, that we all know either directly or via another family member, that we see every other day and nobody has a bad word to say about them.

Saying that a lad hangs out on The Quay every day... same as saying Jackser is the Lollipop man at The Presentation, Nicky Murphy manages The Rovers, Batty Brooks is a Shamrocks man, Davy Cahill is a keen local fisherman, Daisy use to sell single cigs on The Quay, Danny Byrne has been cutting hair since I was a young lad, Paddy Lennon used to have a sports shop etc.

Its hardly a revelation to say <Insert Name Here> hangs out on The Quay everyday, every other person posting here from The Shannon already knows that... no big deal, no harm done. I'm baffled... you've taken the post completely out of context

Flood relief plans launched. Dunno if these are the same as the previous plans or updated after public consultation?

Here's the latest computer model anyway. The walls on the Prom are definitely lower than the previous effort.
