Bit strange that "maxoam" just joins as something is posted about their site, and also that they spelled their own username wrong??

That said, I'm tempted by the Jet but I'm a bit weary since I can't find feedback anywhere online.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19 Maxroam: Pat

    All our phones are neverlocked
European and will work on any network worldwide

I am sure that Darragh will highly recommend me :-)
Forbairt left me know that he had mentioned us here, my personal profile is here @patphelan and http://patphelan.net
last thing I would do is astrosurfing and yes I am a dope for spelling the name wrong, LOL

Me too, but the €35 shipping fee / lack of collection facility is a deal breaker for me :(

I mentioned it to Pat (http://patphelan.net/) on twitter (http://twitter.com/patphelan) as I saw a few questions on here.

Please note I'm not associated with them at all ... just saw the offer earlier on and was wondering about the price difference between them and vodafone :)

Seems fishy tbh, doubt maxoam is even their rep. Glad to be proven wrong though ^_^

heres my mobile <Mod Snip> should you have any further doubts
scanning my birth cert next :-)

You might want to remove that mobile no ASAP.

Must say that €199 for SIM free E72 is great value regardless of delivery charge

Guys, Pat Phelan is one of the heroes of Irish telecoms. Very decent guy, happy to have him on the site and have never seen any suggestion that what he says is true is otherwise.

Name misspelling aside, this is just a really good deal from a good company that I'm a customer of myself.

Someone take the plunge and report back hehe Costs ~€20 and 2 days from france to irl.Assuming the €35 express charge is what it implies, would it be received tomorrow if ordered in the morning of today?

    Cheers.

From the specs "Main Display Resolution: 480 x 800 pixels Color AMOLED Touchscreen", easily justfiable @99 little ones.

Its a pity there is no collection available seeing as I'm 5 min drive from Western Business Park. Would be interested in the Xperia X10

Bah.. already have an iPhone 2G that's working just fine (albeit over 2 years old).

But very tempted to pick up the E72 for when my iPhone inevitably "gives up the ghost" as I refuse to pay the extortionate price that O2 (or whatever carrier gets the new iPhone 4G) will inevitably charge for it.

If "maxoam" can sort out cheaper shipping.. think I might give it a purchase!

Some websites have a stats page that also shows up any links or mention of the url or company name on the net. Could be that.

My Jet only has 2gb of internal.. upgradable via microSD.

Its a good phone with a great screen and very good camera too. Especially considering it's €99 +shipping.

Just make sure you update the firmware to the latest one.

I'm the same. I've a 5800 at the moment but this is a very tempting offer. Will be checking back in tomorrow morning.
