Prometheus wasn't half as creepy as I was expecting, which is saddening. It's still decent though and two hours of Michael Fassbender, who is excellent in it (and, you know, relatively easy on the eye and whatnot), almost made up for my disappointment.

Since yesterday I've watched 4 episodes of Game of Thrones and it lives up to all the hype!
I'm going to try and portion the episodes out though so I don't end up with nothing to watch.

Saw Snow White and the Huntsman tonight and I was impressed.I thought it looked good but I really enjoyed it and it looks stunning!the effects are excellently done.

I had no expectations going to see Prometheus (was a choice made by friends) and I thought it was fairly good, but nothing I'd go to see again or anything.

Completely obsessed with House atm, I started watching it the Friday before last and I'm already on season 3....

So all my friends were like "you have to watch revenge! it's class"

And after watching 4 episodes of it so far today, it's preety good :)

Loads of people I follow on tumblr are obsessed with Supernatural, so I've started that. Not seeing what all the fuss is about so far, but then it's been going for seven seasons so maybe it picks up after a while

I just realized how many big things pass me by completely. I don't watch Game of Thrones. I've only watched one Lord of the Rings film. I haven't watched a Harry Potter film since 2003.I've never seen a Pirates of the Caribbean film. I haven't watched The Avengers. Its like I've completely skipped a decade of pop culture.

Finished Season 2 of The Wire today, I actually live for those end-of-season montages. Two down, three to go, thought S1 was a fair bit better than S2 but I've heard great things about three and four so on I go!

When I was at my friend's house the other night we re-watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. So excited for The Dark Knight Rises now, I've steered completely clear of spoilers (I haven't even watched a trailer yet :p), so I'm super excited! :D

Harry Potter films aren't worth watching, just read the books. Unless you love the terrible acting. :P The Avengers was the most ridiculously overhyped film in a long time imo... I'm getting tired of the non-stop superhero movies these days.

WATCH REVENGE, PEOPLE. It wasn't voted best season finale of the year for nothing! (although, I haven't gotten that far but still, it's unreal so far :p...)

I shouldn't be watching all these episodes of it though with a 10gb limit :(

Yeah, I read all the books and the films just didn't appeal to me afterwards.. Same with Lord of the Rings! I won't be bothered seeing The Hobbit either.

I'm sick of them all as well, the only ones I really like are the latest Batman films. I really can't understand why they're bringing Spiderman back either.. Why would I go to cinema to see Spiderman's origins when I already saw that in 2002?

Because the 2002 film was not a good film. And the new one is a much better, updated origin that has Peter Parker acting like his beloved comic book counter part as opposed to a whiny little bitch, and has several key characters that where never touched upon in the other trilogy, including Gwen Stacy who was actually Peter's first love and not that skank MJ who never loved him like Gwen did and...

...I just have a lot of Spider-man feelings...

I still couldn't be bother parting with money to see it. I'll hold out until Dark Knight Rises.

Looking forward to the Cloud Atlas film now. Hearing that the likes of Tom Hanks and Hugh Grant were in it initially stifled my excitement but the few people who have seen it already say it's great. \o/

Oh yeah one thing I didn't like about Spiderman, well more movies in general; As I get older, the sight of people in their mid-20's playing 17 year olds just looks ridiculous.

Was watching Requiem for a Dream at 5 o'clock in the morning last night, could stay awake for the second half of it so gonna be getting back into it again later tonight

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is perhaps the oddest film I've ever seen.

Guy who directed it Herzog likes his oddness alright, you should check out Aguirre: The Wrath of God. The plot is a bit sparse but it looks absolutely stunning.

I loved Bad Lieutenant fwiw, mostly for Cage's demented portrayal of the lead guy.

    Is Harvey Keitel in that?

You're thinking of this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103759/ (Port of Call isn't a remake btw)

Another great film. Keitel is ruddy excellent too, one of the most extreme performances ever (the drug-taking is real apparently). I do love my Bad Lieutenants.

Yeah, I think I'll have a look for the original one, it's meant to be pretty off the wall.

    "Magic Mike" well hello there!
It was a bit heavier and slower paced than what I was expecting but for a purely aesthetic value it wins big time.

Though all the outdoor scenes seemed almost in sepia which did do my head in.

Wouldn't really recomed it but ita worth a lot to stare at semi-naked hot lads.

Oh and any wrestling fans Kevin Nash is in it and is a terrible male stripper who lacks any rythem or swag when dancing.

Sounds like most of his wrestling performances in the past decade!
