J@ysus €5 for kids for the semi final, €25 for OAP and Students, tickets made available with no surcharges/fees through public sale which doesn't need membership of the association and their still galled the grab all association. I reckon if they were to give tickets away for free people would complain about having to pay for the program.

Know practically no one with stand tickets, mainly terrace tickets for sale online yesterday, they have to be someplace, you know where they are??

I reckon there will loads of tickets on sale outside the ground.
Fellas with fistfuls at the Munster Final couldn't give them away.

I think it's about 50/50 terrace/stand in Thurles in regards to capacity. I got stand tickets and I know loads of people that did as well. I'd imagine that nearly all tickets held back for clubs would be stand tickets. There are 54 clubs in Clare, 50 tickets each that's 2,700 stand tickets, Galway have ~80 clubs I think that's another 4,000 stand tickets so that's 6,700 stand tickets to be held back.

My brother went online the second the tickets were live. Had an 8 minute wait and got section 209 in the Ardan O Coinnean. 6 adults and a juvenile.

Same as us we got 6 adults & 2 juvenile for 209 .
Anyone who went online early got stand tickets.
The stand tickets didnt sell out for a good hour or so.

Tickets were available between 1130-1630 approx. During that 5 hour period stand tickets were only available for approx 1 hour, so as I’ve already posted, way more terrace tickets than stand tickets were available and sold online.

Ya of course there was more terrace tickets available. It about 50/50 in Thurles anyway. Stand tickets are going to be held for clubs , corporates & players. The rate of tickets sold in the first hour was probably higher than the rest too.

I didnt disagree there was more terrace tickets available , thats just basic math. I disagree that practically noone got stand tickets. Most ive spoken to got stand tickets. My brother only got terrace but he was late going online due to work.

Yes, practically no one I talked to got stand tickets, but most you talked to did. I suppose that's probability, not basic math!:)

Well if Semple stadium is 50/50 stand/terrace and the clubs, cooperates & players tickets allocation is out off the stand sections then it is basic maths that there is more terrace available to the general public 😉☺

Don't forget a lot of clubs also availed (or at least should have anyway) of the juvenile group tickets which could be got as well as the reduced adult tickets.

I have 5 minutes to wait in the queue on their website. Be interesting to see if there's any left when I get in.

    Stand Tickets Gone

out of curiosity i logged in via web at 4, typical when i didn't need them got lucky 42 in queue. Got 4 together at 108.
let them expiry at final checkout so so someone got lucky.
Got to say it annoys me that the Gaa sell the worse tickets first.

I disagree. If the better tickets are kept back for the clubs I think it's way better.

so you think that the club people that got a ticket in the corners earlier in the week and paying the same price as the better ones today is fair......

Surely the people that are top of the queue should get the best tickets, now if the tickets are made available via clubs first and only then made available online fair enough but current process of creating a panic and selling the worse tickets is bad form.

Where did I say anything about people buying tickets earlier in the week?

I’m saying, that for a match that has tickets available online and through clubs, then clubs should get the better tickets.

Logged on at 3:59, got in at 4:10, all stand tickets were gone. Some on here got stand tickets today, but there can't have been a huge amount available.
Still buckets of terrace tickets available for both ends.
